I heard some crazy stuff about the cavs wanting tatum as part of the bundle - LOL. They already fleeced boston, injury or not.

 

I saw that lmao. Such a JOKE. They're lucky they got as much as they did already. If they wanna void it go ahead, it's their funeral.

I'm pretty sure their demise is inevitable regardless but the draft pick might save them in the future. They'd be stupid to lose it out of greed.

God damn I'm hyped as fuck for this season. How about that Melo trade? OKC making moves to be honest, and I know Melo is old, and the playstyles might not mesh well, but come on be able to trade four role players, and a second round pick to get 2 all stars (debatable superstar if we're talking about PG13 as he enters his prime) is insane to me. Props to OKC. Also can't forget about that Chicago Bulls buyout, which allowed Dwayne Wade to go to Cleveland.

The offseason was better than last season lmao. Definitely hyped as well, season starts October 17th I believe with Kyrie opening in Cleveland, which is gonna be a good show.

 

This really has been crazy. I would've laughed if you would've said Cavs get Derrick Rose, Isaiah Thomas, AND Dwade in one off season.

CLE, GSW, OKC, BOS, SAS, and some others have legit shots to win the title. Will be a great year.

 

Hell yeah man only problem with some of those teams is depth though, but definitely going to be extremely entertaining to watch come playoff time.

 

Anyone plan on watching any of the preseason games tomorrow (tonight technically)? I know starters are mainly resting to avoid injuries, so they're ready to come go come season tip off, but I might watch a couple preseason games this year depending on who plays. Lonzo might get a lot of minutes, so he can get used to the NBA style of play, and I want to see Dennis Smith Jr as well. That kid reminds me of another version of Russ because of his crazy athleticism / scoring ability.

 

GSW to win this season again?

Last season they smashed it and dominated it all.

 

I mean as far as starting lineups goes you could argue OKC, or Cleveland to be up there, but as far as depth overall I think GSW has it, but don't get me wrong Cleveland is looking really good right now as well. Tons of stacked teams, but the east is going to be a cakewalk for Cleveland to go to another finals trip except for Boston maybe, but the West is going to be tough. Even to grind a playoff spot.... but to answer your question yes most likely GSW will win it all, but I hope it would be in a 6-7 game series so it's more interesting.

 

Didnt look to great last night, even though just stand ins and pre season. Cant wait for new season to start

 

you guys don't think cavs bench is deep? I think Cavs bench itself could be 6-8 seed in the east lol

 

West is going to be tough for the lower spots, Warriors got so much better this offseason. I know preseason isn't totally indicative of where teams are at but it looks like Casspi and Jordan Bell are solid additions to help stretch the floor once the starters are off...I haven't seen how IT will mesh with the Cavs yet but yeah hopefully you're right and it can be a bit closer...I mean vegas is still giving GSW -160 odds lol so take that as you will
