Regarding just. I think it is 100% fair he gets a TWC, He was questioned several times and he denied having duped gold, which was false.

It would have been 100% okay if he had said this is duped gold and that is why i am selling this so cheap.

 

as i recall he wasnt directly asked if he had duped gold. People asked him if he had bh duped gold, which is false, he never said he was not selling duped gold, just duped gold from bh

 

Just un dude shouldn't be banned for that.. over half the gold in the market is duped right now, and as roy stated he said he was not selling bh duped gold, that doesn't seem like enough to warrant a perm ban on a 7 year member who has been selling gold for years, every buyer will come across duped gold and he answered the questions he was asked honestly..

He was asked if it was duped by punjabi3 and he said no this is not duped and he got aggressive and said he would report any post asking about where the gold came from.

He clearly denied it on several points if it was duped or glitched gold, He said no.

With that said. I do agree a perm ban is harsh. TWC is fair enough.

i have to agree with kenpen and roy on this 1. I read the report and he was only asked if it was a certian glitch of duped gold. He clearly stated it wasnt from that glitch, he was never asked if was duped from another process. This is in my mind more of a clash of ego's, I think a few people r butthurt that they had him and he was able to walk away. If he bragged about it/disputed the ban it only pissed people off. They felt i guess it was better safe then sorry. If he only took the ban with a grain of salt and kept doin business through msn he would of been fine. I understand tho he was pissed about the whole thing, N felt it was unfair. he should be allowed back after a month or so. I cant see banning 1 of the most legit guys here permantly. Sythe needs people like un just dude here hope they work this all out.

He also specifically told me on MSN that it wasn't duped at all. After that I sent a screenshot to NickV and he added it to the report to get Just un dude banned.

He clearly lied to all of us to make a quick buck.

And that is why he was slapped with a TWC and should honestly stay banned, I'm more concerned he lied and tried to cover it all up so he could make some quick money. He should have known better to be honest, but then again, money makes the world go round.

What ever happened to inventor? I remember him being around The Spyike time I think? Did he get banned for being with unwantables?

Also what was kamakazy_kid or whatever banned for? I always remember thinking something was sketchy about him.

Indeed, Just un dude is using the logic that because no one on Sythe was locked / banned for the glitch, that he should get off scott-free. On the flipside, he is indirectly admitting that if people did lose their accounts due to him lying, he would have seriously screwed people over. Does Just un dude have any control over what actions Jagex takes against this duped gold? No. It was a crap-shoot. Yes, people got off fairly scott-free. However, he still put everybody in harms' way.

Furthermore, to lie and say only Roy did the dupe is silly. Just un dude's account is the second one listed in the ban-sweep. 2college is universally known as his main, and he attracted so much attention that it was posted on the ban list. He obviously was duping insane amounts, and used his own accounts.

I will admit I am biased against this Dutch fellow, because of past issues with each other. But I also know that were the situation reversed, he would be calling for bans on any major gold seller who replicated his behaviour in this circumstance. He also demonstrated a complete lack of character by constantly boasting about how he duped gold, made tons of money, etc. Be more modest, quit trying to get people to kiss your feet, and the odds are this situation would never have gotten so out of hand. If you hadn't bragged all across Sythe after the dupe was over, and attracted swarms of attention on the subject, this likely never would have gained any steam.

As for a perm-ban, I think this is actually overboard. Yes, he lied and acted impulsively, but he has also earned his stripes as a trader on the site. He should be TWC'ed 1 year, market-banned 3-6 months. Such punishment should serve as a strong enforcement that his activity was unacceptable, but allows him to slowly return and learn from his actions. We should know that in this world, people do make mistakes, and should have the chance to make up for them in time. Any losses incurred from his lies should be repaid fully, of course, but from what I understand there are none.
