Is this a phish?

Hey guys I got an email from [email protected] (that is the actual email address) asking if I was the original owner of the account that I sent an email regarding over a week ago. It was looking a little phishy because of the recipients, who are all sythe members I know the names of.

I haven't put in any details into it, because I thought the grammar in the email was a little unusual, but the link seemed legit enough.

Anyone have any ideas?

edit: The link goes to secure.runescepe.org, so yeah, its a phish.

 

Fake, this has been going around a lot, apparently targetting Sythe emails. Only go to www.runescape.com manually to log in.

 

The link that you posted is runescape.com but the link that is in the email is most probably a phishing link (Put your mouse over it). There has been a massive influx in these email scams after free trade. Read the sticky on how to avoid being hacked for more information.

 

Well, good thing I didn't enter any info in on it, though even if I did it would have been regarding a banned account. Thanks for the help guys.

 

Got the same shit. My was a legitphish tho. Redirected to some other site, not RS.

 

What you've posted is legit, but the e-mail i imagine has a different link.
