If you're still unsure, go to the link and log in with fake credentials i.e:

Username: PoopyMcPoopFace
Password: poop123

Something like that, and if it lets you log in then it's fake.

 

Also I get these all the time, they're always fake.

 

Instead of trusting the eMail, just go to the official Jagex website and check it out, or just check your messages inbox on Runescape the next time you log in.

It is fake, you just posted the real link of the runescape site. In the email it would have had a cover link under it. Jagex won't email you about your account, maybe a news letter or two if you sign up to it.

 

Add runescape as a friend on your emails, so you know if its them or not...

 

Highly doubt that they would link you directly to the "login Page". Just go on the rs website by typing it in your browser.

 

It'll say your RSN, not player.

 

if you ever wonder whether it is a phish or real...go to www.runescape.com and login!!!..

if you don't see the same message at your message center...it's fucking fake....

 

If your that worried just go to runescape.com and log in and check.

 

The reason why its coming up as a real jagex login is because of this reason

They have it like [url = fake rs site]real rs site][/url] or however, but because he copied it, it didnt take the hyperlink, if you get what i mean

 

They make them look so legit, you can see how people fall for them.

 

First of all, it's easy to send a fake email from any email adress you desire.

Secondly, they will never e-mail you about an infraction or a ban.

Lastly, the link looks legit because it probably has a hyperlink under it.
