In all fairness if I was offered, maybe. But I don't hunt for it, I don't crave it, I don't need it.

Wouldn't do it again, nor recommend anyone to do it. Not only is it bad for your health, it's bad for your reputation.

 

Have you tried it before: Yes used to smoke daily for a year and a half then quit because like most kids i couldn't handle it and wasn't mature about it. I won't go into detail though.
Would you try it if someone offered you weed: depends i think i would now that im more mature. I have done other drugs since i quit smoking weed(LSA and salvia) both legal surprisingly. I don't recommend LSA to anyone who has a bad stomach lol. Wouldn't recommend salvia for anyone who isn't ready to experience complete and utterly terrifying eggo death(did it like 10 or so times. 10x-40x)
Or are you completely against it: i used to be. Then i educated myself with these cool things called facts and science....oh and books!

 

To the people saying they grew out of it making it a adolescent stereotype is beyond ignorant. If you want to relax after a hard day, do it. If you want to have possible amazing sex with your significant other, do it. If you want to enjoy movies more than you ever have before, do it. You cannot get addicted obviously, but you can become dependent on the drug, making things you would normally do high not as fun when you are not high, making you very bored. This usually happens if you are a daily smoker.

Am I against it?
Well, I hate people who "boast" about it, like it's something to be proud of or like they're cool. #420 #swag #yolo #pothead #bong. It's overrated. But I'm not against its use as long as its not abused.

 

Have I tried it? Absolutely. With today's day and age I can't see how anyone really hasn't been offered at one point or another. I don't smoke it anymore though where I've moved towards a profession that will not allow me to be near the substance.

Am I against it? No. I'm all for the legalization/decriminalization of Marijuana. I see no harm in the drug as long as it's not abused. I do not see why we can't just treat is as we do with alcohol. On that note anyone who thinks alcohol is better is foolish.

 

My opinion on Marijuana (By no means the absolute truth) is that I think it is fine in moderation (only on special occasions) because governmental scare tactics aside-- it actually does make you unmotivated and unproductive, even if only on the short term.

I wouldn't do it and then go out and party all night, it's definitely a relaxation sort of thing with a few mates and then you can just sit around all afternoon/night and have a sweet time.

 

Have you tried it before? Yeah, I smoke around once a week, it always good to head over to a friends house smoke a bit watch some movies and eat pizzas, always a really good time.

I've tried weed and honestly don't know what all the hype is about, it made me wanna eat like a hippo, sleep like a baby and walk like a zombie. Not an amazing feeling, I don't feel conscious of what I'm doing... I just felt like a zoned out zombie, it was not good like at all? I guess it's different for everyone but damn, I'll never do it again... I enjoy being active and lively; not a morbid freak.

Looking at all the posts above saying "Oh it slowed me down and i cant do anything after i smoke" I dont know if you guys are smokin the cheapest stuff on the market or what but i smoke a pretty decent grade of weed and i feel good if not better after smoking and i have a wider imagination. Its fine in my book.

 

I support weed 100%, but when people start saying That there is no negative is complete poppycock. Legalization would be a very good thing, but i think the reason lots of people dont want it to be legal is for the youth. I mean look at alcohol, almost every teen will drink in their adolescence. In our minds we think alcohol isnt such a bad substance when it really is (for our bodies). So the government or our parents dont want their youth to have another thing that's decriminalized in their minds so they can abuse it.

If you're a chronic weed smoker at a young age it does have a negative effects on your brain.. that's medically proven. As long as you have your priorities straight weed can be such a good thing.

But there's too many kids these days that just smoke to be "cool", which could possibly lead to more serious stuff. Me as a person i Love not following the rules, I'll drink, I'll smoke, ect ect.. i think it makes me so cool, but in reality it doesn't.

I love weed, I love the way it makes me feel, like im out of my mind. Any chance i get I'll try and smoke even though it may no benefit me. I think the general population thinks that any object, substance, that makes you feel better than you would regularly is a bad thing. Sure the majority of substances are, but marijuana is 1/10th as bad for you then alcohol So why shouldn't ganja be legal?

I have smoked a lot of weed in my time, I'm now a freshman in college and don't smoke anymore. Why? Just because. I really think there is nothing wrong with it, it is a happy going drug that definitely shouldn't be illegal, but there is no reason to legalize it.

I smoke too much probably. I do not advocate it, nor do I even care to see it legalized tbh. I do think that there are more people than not who are NOT responsible with it. I don't agree with all of my friends who see no harm in driving around stoned and then either tell me about the wreck/bender they got in while they were "super high" or how they almost ran off the road. A lot of people will try to tell me I'm wrong, but I'm not. I don't agree with underage use either, as the irresponsible usage tends to be more common amongst youth.

Or are you completely against it? I don't have a problem with it at all, but I won't ever seek it out or purchase it. Just kind of a rule of thumb I guess. It makes colours really interesting and colours are my friend.

 

I've smoked almost every day of my life since I was 13 with a few dry spells lasting a month or two, however I am now on probation due to some child support shit and cannot smoke it or I go to prison (big bummer).

I believe pot can release a more spiritual and true you. Even though I smoked it daily, I'd only smoke enough to get a buzz every day, but during religious practices I would get completely stoned.

Pot can affect different people in different ways. Most people become peaceful, but some people become more violent. I've heard it depends on your personality, but I've seen angry, violent people use it in order to become more calm. A buddy of mine that I talk to online actually got it prescribed to him to help control his anger issues, and it works.

No matter what you hear, marijuana is not addictive. You CAN become addicted to it though. People can become addicted to anything. Such as soda. Soda doesn't have anything in it that makes your brain crave it like meth does, but I haven't drank water unless it was all I had for over 10 years. I'm addicted to soda. I could stop drinking it if I really wanted to, just like weed addicts could stop smoking pot if they really wanted to.

So just ignore rumors saying pot is addictive in the ways that cigarettes or meth or crack is addictive, because that just isn't true.

I would suggest trying it. Don't do a lot your first time. My first time I wasn't aware there was such a thing as "creeper" and smoked a blunt with some friends, they had another blunt but didn't want it. I didn't feel anything, so I smoked the second blunt all on my own. Bout 15 minutes later out of no where I got higher than I've ever been since then. It was some what a scary experience. I noticed that I wasn't breathing, and in order to breath on my own, I had to concentrate on doing so. Now, of course it was all just in my head and I was trippin' out. So if you feel this way and it starts to scare you, just go to sleep, your body will resume its normal functions in your sleep and your body will begin to breathe on its own again.

First time, I would suggest to just smoke a bowl of reggie and see what happens. (reggie is just plain weed. No special name, not really strong, no special effects, just normal shit.)

For recreational use, pot can be very fun. Very useful in wasting time or just feeling good. It especially helps if youre depressed or something. Feelin' down? Spark up a fatty and chill out. Easy as that.

You can't OD on weed, so the only worry about smoking to much of it, is tripping out like a dumbass. So really, just smoke whatever amount youre comfortable with and make sure you have food in the house, cuz youre gonna fuckin need it.
