Most heartbreaking moment for me...

I turned 100m into 1.3b staking.

Bought my purple, had 200m left over.

The next day I sold phat, in hopes of getting enough from staking for a green.

Lost. Every. Thing.

My own fault, but you get the idea.

 

When my irl friend lost my 1k bank in 2003. Not even joking. 1k bank.

 

All the times skulled whippers would escape with minimal hp back in the old Mage bank days

 

I have another one that happened to a friend of mine. He was doing a Dks trip in some pretty expensive gear with friends a few years back. His internet disconnected and he died. He logged back in to find that his members had ran out and he had no way of renewing it and lost all hes stuff. May say like a Bs story but it actualy happened lol.

 

Selling purple phat for 30m before quitting, and coming back to it being worth tons, years later.

 

I logged on to my account with 1.8 bil wealth I've had since the runescape beta to find that everything got dropped, by one of my own friends. He dropped every item in my bank, literally every item, chaotics, quest items, untradeables, etc. I logged in to find my 500 mil exp counter reset, a cat following me, and 1 gp in my bank. He deleted every room in my house, all my friends, everything. The reason he did this to me? I called him a faggot as a joke.

 

bought a dragon dagger for 100k right after i made 100k from selling cowhides for 100gp each...

another one was getting lured into that place with the wizards for the silverlight quest and getting owned and losing my black dagger (P++)

 

Rl friend of online friend? If it was rl I hope you sort vengance of some sort

 

sold 2 phats and mask set for 260m before I quit, came back from a 2 year break and found phats are over 1b now (they used to cost 100m)

but the saddest part was when I logged in after that 2 year break and looked at my friends list.. everyone was offline, found out 90% of them quit, I'm back in my '04 clan now though and made some friends here in sythe (1 nub got me banned here though smh)

 

Never been scammed much. But i think its when i nolifed mining so i can mine rune back in 2004. Rune was EPIC money back in days. Like 3 months later i was 85, and i found out theres so many rune miners, that i cant even find any rock. That was heartbreaking for me. 2nd i remember was recently. I sold my bank for $$ and decided to start over. Went to corp welfare duo ffa + split with my rs buddy, and after few kills he logged with duo ely without splitting.

When runescape 2 came out they transferred all your items from classic, I never liked rs2. So i transferred all of it back, 2 mouths later they closed rsc f2p, I lost 3m.

 

The day i tried to sold my account for $200.

After few minutes of discussion i noticed his email address with an ending of: @fbi.gov ....... not sure RS player or fucking cop trying to bust my ass!! SO... i logged out immediately and was scared like hell ! D Btw, who knew that also fbi agents are on sythe?

 

My pure got ruined + ransomed

 

When my maxed tank got banned for luring in wilderness. Was really bad moment when I typed in the Pass+Username and it said I was banned..

 

long ago i had a santa hat when they were around 20m. a friend of mine from school borrowed account, he was a good friend of mine so i figured nothing would happen, i forgot to change my password and it was gone

 

back in 07 when I started dragon slayer as a level 30. I died for the first time and I nearly killed the dragon T.T

Was scammed in trade window back in 06.

Full rune for 1000k i thought, but he changed it into 10003. I was devistated, i cried to my mom, and I sent Jagex a letter because they hacked me.

Scammed 113m from sythe. Lost 100m banks 4 times so far. Scammed green hween from irl friend who moved 50 miles away. Fuck that ginger.

 

I just remembered mine. I was rockin the granite armor with the dragon legs, obby plate, and granite maul, when all of the sudden the random killing event chicken started attacking me. At the time I didn't know you could run away, and had no food to attack it back. The thing had 2 hp when it killed me, and everyone was cheering. I fucking ran into my room and raged (9 at the time). That's when i was pissed and bought my first mills by RWTing (from my dads PP L0l)
