The CDT is always looking for sponsors for events, competitions and tournaments.
PM a CDT Leader if you are interested in sponsoring a future event or have an idea for an event you would like to sponsor.

- The Oculust Rift & Virtual Reality Tech section has been archived.
- There have been some updates to the Community Repayment fund.
- Signatures are now centered by default.

- Further Changes to the Account Market have been made.
- A Lot of Updates, including really important miscellaneous updates sitewide.
- Modernizing Sythe Rules and Updating the Bump Rule are two more really important updates made recently.

- Further Changes to the Account Market have been made.
- A New community repayment forum has been made to document repayments to the community funds etc.
- Rules in regards to scamming have been rewritten.
- You are now able to post suggestions anonymously.
- The sticky in regards to disputing bans, TWC's and DNT's has been updated.
- Responsibility of accounts after 2 years has been cleared.

The community as a whole, it is always delightful chatting with people in the discord.

How long have you realized that Sythe is a far superior marketplace then PB?
Well PB was a bot with a market so most people didn't even use the market lol. When I realized Sythe was a market based site, I knew it was better.

If you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?
Bear, I'm cuddly.

How long have you been active on Sythe?
I would post the occasional scammers way back, but my activity picked up a lot last October so 9ish months.

What are your ambitions regarding Sythe, or life in general?
I have met most of my ambitions, I have a fantastic job and no debt. so I guess my next ambition would be to start a family and buy a house. But I need to meet the right person first. As for Sythe, admin so I can tell hhn what to do.

What motivates you on a day to day basis?
Envy I suppose. I envy the people who are better or doing better than me so I try to be better like them.

-Staff have discussed the Market Manipulation rule and have agreed that it is too vague in both scope and punishment.
-The Temporary Game Modes section has been made, and the OSRS Leagues and Deadman Market are its subsections.
- Two new subsections for the Ironman market have been made.
- Firecape proof no longer needs to be provided in order to advertise your Firecape services.

After some discussion with the other admins we're going to be changing the ruling here:

Ordering services comes with many risks, not just to the customer but to the service provider as well. We encourage the use of Terms of Service to both provide protection and to allow for easy dispute resolution. Unfortunately in this situation the ToS did not cover the outcome of a bank being cleared during the service, and given that this is a high value Ironman account, we do have to hold the service provider liable for the loss as it is unlikely that the customer was the one who removed the items from the account.

Compensation for cases like these is difficult to calculate, as many of the items lost involve some form of RNG grind that allows for great variance in the cost to regain these items via services. In a previous report we ruled that 4x the cleaned bank value was a reasonable compensation number. The wealth removed judging from the provided bank GIFs totals to roughly 1.35b, meaning that @Exxistential owes @Spencercslv1 a total of 5.4b 07. I have added a DNT to @Exxistential until this amount has been repaid.

This is an incredibly unfortunate situation for both parties, and there should have been a proper agreement formed beforehand that discussed liability in the event of the bank being cleared, especially given the value of the account that was being worked on.

We hope at the very least this report can act as a reminder to both customers and service providers that risks like this can and should be avoided.
