WoW or RS?

It takes like 2 months to get ONE skill to level 99 in RuneScape.... so times that by how many skills there are in RuneScape, and then tell me you spend more time on WoW

They are both classified as MMORPGs. Of course they will be different, that's what makes games unique.

So runescape skills, you enjoy clicking that same old piece of wood or ore HUNDREDS AND MILLIONS of times just to hit level 99?

There's a gold cap in World of Warcraft as well.

There are rares in World of Warcraft, and they are always comming with new gear that looks better than all the gear on RS. The bosses in WoW are probably 99999999999 times more complex than a runescape 'boss'

There are tens and thousands of quests in WoW, of course some might be similar.

 

World of warcraft is more interesting but to me RS is more convenient and a lot cheaper for P2P and I profit more from selling accounts.

The better game is clearly WoW.

 

PLay both games,wow is definietly better but for some reason i keep coming back to rs. Guess there is just something about it.

 

how about you guys just start playing rift instead? much better lol

I personally have to go with runescape only because I have been playing on and off since the 5th grade and I have only tried WoW once and I just didn't feel like learning a whole new game over again when runescape had taken me years. Also wow seems to have a more complex interface with weird icons that I know nothing about. I may try to get into it in the future although runescape is bringing back free/trade wildy as we all know so that may stop/delay me.

Wow costs waaaaay to much to attract players...
RS is free and much better...here is why:

- Wilderness (1st february +) you can PK and actually loose something.
When you kill an enemy on WOW you get like nothing and you just have to run back to your corps....??(N)

 

Its a Hard decision, I have played both games avidly. And I would say wow is 10x times more group play.

And Rs is good because you can play solo really easy.

 

WoW obviously is better, to be honest if you say otherwise you are just ignorant, or don't understand WoW which would be saying less of yourself then being ignorant.......

I do like how I can get on Runescape for 30 minutes, do a bit of stuff and get off with a reasonable amount of stuff done, where in WoW I would be lucky to fit a heroic in that time frame. (Could in WoTLK, but not anymore )

 

All about RS..
I have played Runescape for the best part of 5 years
I started in 2003.
Still the accoutn i have to this day is the biggest noob ever but for thats not the point.
Runescape can be the best for everyone..
Its a chill out game and a hardcore game at times like when wild returns.
Trading is so much better.

WoW is way to intense and when you want to chill out its boring.
i have played retail wow and many private servers, runescape beats them all.

I mean im not saying wow is rubbish but its just for the more technical gamer and takes quite a while to learn everything with all the macros and certain stuff with add-ons..
its just not for me but it is a good game.

 

Rs because i have no intention of paying to play a game.

I dont like all the grinding quests after quests u gotta do on WoW

 

World of Warcraft for sure! Runescape is very retarded and the graphics SUCK!!! WoW has more stuff to do, a MUCH wider community, TONS more funner, and WoW has mounts while RS does not. World of Warcraft is sooo much more entertaining then Runescape.
WOW:
-better graphics
-better characters
-better weapons

RuneScape:
-easier to learn where places are
-better skills
-costs less

 

WoW = £9 a month.
RS = £3 a month (less than my bus fare for ONE day).

 

I use to love rs then played wow on and off could not get into it then slowly got into the game and loved it. The gfx are the sex, pvp and Capture the flag is awesome and if you want more than 3 account to play technically wow is cheaper from that aspect.

 

WoW ultimately exceeds RuneScape in every way imaginable but, personally, I prefer the simple GFX and aspect of RS so I'd have to go with that.

 

When we finally purchased a better computer I decided to purchase WoW. Played for the free 1 month that you get and then quit for good.

I found it really boring and just not worth the recurring cost. Although I was linked with a friend through that recruit a friend thingy where we would get 300% exp. Basically my friend was rushing me through all these areas/quests and so I guess I really never got to experience the game properly.

I definately agree that it is an amazing game though! But I think the cost is what really put me off (if it costed the same as RuneScape I would probably play).

So yeah, I choose RS over WoW.

 

Well since Runescape is the only game i play right now (besides another privet server sometimes) out of thousands of other games out there I am sticking with RS. I never even tried WoW before and dont plan too. I do get and heard it has better graphics and stuff but I just dont want to get addicted to another game and put in more and more time into it since I have done that with RS already. I have quit RS about 5 times and always came back later on. no other game can do that for me . I do like Runescape 3D thought that was a nice addition to it.

Its like waaaaaay more realistic. I love shoving 28 sharks down my throat.
