Would you like to know when you die?

It's not a possible scenario. Would the universe physically intervene to prevent you from putting a bullet in your brain the day before you were scheduled to die? In fact, any deviance from what you normally would have done (including thoughts) would be destroying the prophecy.

well..here are my scenerios:

If I knew I was going to die within a few days/weeks, I'd say yes, I want to know

If I knew I was going to die within a few years, I would want to know also,

...you know what, now that I think about it more , I'd always want to know,

THINK: If you knew when you were going to die, that means any time before that - You are immortal? - (Either that or paralized in a hospital till your day comes)

Either way, there is no reason to debate a question such as this, whats the use? the end result?

 

it would be impossible to know. as soon as you knew the answer, the answer you just recieved would change the time of your death. and so on...

 

it would be pretty interesting to know the exact moment you're going to die. you would try to avoid it but at the end you would still find your self at the exact spot and moment when you would have to face the death.

 

No, this just means that everything that would happen would not kill you up to that point. Nothing would stop, you would still get shot, but not fatally. Everything would push you toward that common end. And once you reach it, the events up to it led to it.

You can NOT change fate. Every action happens for a reason. Everything that you do would just lead up to your death. So you might think that you are preventing it, but you are really just getting closer to it. You can not run away from fate, it will just chase you down the drain.

na... i would hate to know when i was going to die... because i would always be counting down intil that day, and in doing that i would live a sad and depressed life.

 

As soon as you knew when and exactly how you would die, you most likely wont die that way, given that it wasn't of natural courses.
if you knew your bus was going to crash on the way to school and you die, then you wouldnt catch the bus that day and you would continue to live correct?
Also if you knew you would live to your 100 and then die, you are not imortal inbetween. you knowing that you will live that long will change your coarse of life, and therefore may die another way.

If someone told you how you would die, it would only be true IF you didnt hear them tell you. as soon as you know, it will change the future.

and there is no such thing as fate, things dont happen for a reason. people arnt assigned a time for them to die.

 

There is no fate. if you knew you would die from falling out of a plane right? know that you know this, lets say you NEVER get on a plane again. are you saying you will die at the same time but from a different cause?

Or lets say you would die of cancer, this pisses you off, destroys all you future goals, so you decide to let off a grenade in your mouth. now, are you saying "fate" will keep him alive even without a head?

 

i wouldn't because what happens if you are dead in your house or on your street? you would go insane wondering when you would die.

If you found out that you were going to die when you caught the bus that day, and so you did not catch the bus(Which wouldn't happen), then you would still die on the bus at the exact time you were given.

The paranormal would probably go out of it's way to forfill whatever prophecy given to you referring to your death. You did not catch the bus. You were happy, because you would have died if you did. You would be walking to school .. You'd see smoke in the sky. You'd walk a couple of yards and find that your bus had a flat tire and the bus driver was near done fixing it. As he/she fixed it, rain would sweep over you, but not as fast as normal. You'd be trying to escape the rain and without knowing it, go onto your bus to find shelter. The bus would take off, unable to stop. The wheels would go faulty again and the bus would crash. The windows would break and glass would reign over your body, thus killing you.

Fate(Which is a theory many think real, Shredderbeam), would untimately come true and the prophecy would be complete and true.

Theres no such thing as fate(If it is real) not coming true. Fate is the ending result of a certain/noncertain event. If I walked two steps, two steps ago, a short fate of mine was to walk two steps. If I thought that my fate was to walk two steps and I only walked one, then I as a human would be wrong seeing as my fate was to really walk only one step.

Fate is fate. Fate is not two or three fates combined into one. It is fate.

 

I wouldnt like to knw when i die.. id would be all paranoid and stuff when theday came lol, i would just stay in my room and lock the door... but then my house would blow up im sure with my luck lol...

 

I wouldn't. Because that can ruin your whole life long schedule.. Then again, I could get what I wanted to do, what I dreamt of before.. Hmm.. That's a difficult one. IF I COULD, yes. But not cuz I could do outrageous things... you can't defy the laws of physics or common sense, as Shredderbeam said, you can't NOT get a bullet in your head >_>
