Worth playing?

I've heard numerous streamers say the game is dying off and going in the wrong direction. Before I invest time, energy and money in game. Is it even worth playing anymore?

 

Ofc it is, play IM and you wont feel the game dying at all

 

As long as you are having fun play it. This game has been around forever and will continue being around forever

 

if u like the game, then sure. but yes imo it is dying slowly.

 

I mean none of us can TRULY and ACCURATELY say the game is dying and at what rate because we haven't tracked the data over the last few years. With that said, I can understand how it would be true. Runescape was incredible for its time during the early years. The nostalgia drew folks back and even attracted some new players. Overall, though, it's super outdated and doesn't seem to appeal to the younger/upcoming generations as much as it did to those who played it back in the day. We shall see I guess.

 

Definitely still worth playing. I think Jagex realise the game is dying SLOWLY and will pull it out the bag to save the game.

 

Definetely worth playing! I love it. I play both regular account and ironman account

 

No play RuneScape 3

 

Raids3 and nex coming out. I don’t foresee it dying..
