Worth playing again?

Hey guys, I've been out of the game for a few years now and miss the rush of staking and pking. Just curious on your thoughts if its worth making an account and playing again? Also do people do a lot of range box staking like way back? Thanks

 

Range boxing is almost dead, people barely rb vs same odds, it's always have to be their odds and there is barely ANY range boxers nowdays, same goes with mage boxers and 1 prayer boxers.
Most active staking accounts are from 60 cb (dds pures)
or 105 + cb (main stakers) or just maxed mains.
If you have the time and patients to wait for stakes 3 - 4 hours + for a stake Yes actually 3 + hours for a stake, if anyone is an odd staker or just a med level staker, they'll know what I'm talking about.

 

It's a great time to join, alot of new players due to new f2p and osrs bonds

 

staking is big right now especially in 07, i would say yes

 

I came back recently when they brought back f2p and loving it. Went p2p right away but logging back on for free gave me that kick I needed to play again.

 

Good time to play again for sure. Currently making a pure to start pking again.

 

It's worth it yeah.
If you don't feel like grinding the levels, try and find a trusted seller on Sythe and purchase an account and some mills
And no, there's not much RBing anymore.

I'd have to say yeah, I just recently started playing again. I missed it alot.

 

You need to pay for membership unless you're okay with getting spammed by merch sites 24/7

 

It is 100% worth playing again. Pking is active, many new bosses to slay, and if you wanna try something new there is even an iron man mode now which is great fun .

 

I recently started playing 07 again and I'm loving it!

 

Yeah, definitely start playing again. It's a great community, and the game's updates are actually driven by us as a community. Really active and great fun to play

 

I'm not huge or even existent in the pking scene, but I hear that's where the party's at and I got phuced up during the wilderness package for the April fools bs.

Ever since they made old school a thing, everything has been great and most of the little bugs that made 07 shitty are gone.

Still not sure how true the updates being chosen by the people thing is, anyone could set up a fake counter that goes in favor of what they want to happen while telling the people they chose it. But nearly every update has been fine by me especially the GE.

Start in f2p dip your toe in see if you like it anymore and get some of your base levels started so you can make an informed decision and hit the ground running once you go p2p.

 

I am finally enjoying Rs again, currently remaking a 1 defence pure. Definitely more like it used to be.

 

Definitely worth playing, pking and staking ( in higher lvls) is very active.

staking is awesome, but like said earlier range stakes are almost completely dead

also bonds allow you to pay for membs using gold

 

There actually are quite some range stakes going on. But mostly at like 70-80 range

 

So the games been getting more active then from the sounds of it? Just don't want to play then the game go dead

 

It's hard to say where it's going, but I think osrs is at pretty much its height of activity right now
