It's 20k per year, anually is yearly + Paying 100+ staff 20k a month salary, wouldn't leave them much profit, think about it logically. Also, 16k anually is about minimum wage, so yes, 20k+ (for sitting down in an office, programming/thinking of ideas/doing general customer support (the customer support would be classed as office work, so 20k is above the high end admin wages)) would be about right, not mega money like you'd think, but right.

Guys, it's 20k a year. Anyways, I would only work as the Game Engine Dev, price is negotiable. Also InHouse Lawyer get's 30-65k a year. 65k a year is pretty good.

 

My dads an eye speciallist, he earrns roughly 15 -20k a month. I hardly see how a jagex programmar could make that in a month.

 

I agree, there is no way that the lower ranked staff make that much a year. It says no where that its a monthly salary. To the people that say that they would ban people like crazy, unlimited money, etc your idiots you ban people like crazy for no reason and you get fired, you don't get unlimited money either the Jagex accounts are for job related purposes only you can't play on them nor can you get money transfered to your account. Jagex is pretty strict too. I personally wouldn't want to work for Jagex, its not something Im interested in. I live in the US so I would rather stay here or Canada. If you actually plan on working for them, I would suggest you do some research yourself on the payment plans for certain jobs.

EDIT: Meant to put this in earlier, you also won't be working on just Runescape. Jagex has other games you will be working on plus Mechscape is comming out soon, and Runescape isn't going to last forever.

 

Nah there's better jobs than turning people into addicted jerks.
