Well it's not always about if the customer can afford the price or not, it's also about how much money you're willing to hand over to someone like Jagex. For digging up an old revision that is already complete and simply putting it (and a couple servers) online, is it really worth charging hundreds of thousands of people $13 per month?

By the way, it's closer to $18-$20 per month if you count the already $5-$7 standard membership fee. They're really getting fat off this deal...

Are you ill? $15-$20/ month can mean a lot to people. Not everyone can afford every luxury and some people do budget. One of my friends has to budget to play the game but he plays it for enjoyment and does other things in his life etc. So yes, $5+ EXTRA additional fee on top of the FunOrb fee people might pay and it does stack up.

The thing people dont realize is the giant scam that jagex is doing, i mean theyre attempting to get people that quit back into the game yet make the poll only usable by current members, obviously people arent going to be members since they quit because of all the shitty updates.

Second off, for all of you saying that 13/month is not a lot..uhh it kind of is considering the fucking economy we have, especially for a game thats going to get minimal maintenance and support as stated clearly by them.

I sure as fuck wont be subscribing to play EoC runescape so why should i even have to pay the initial 7.99 monthly? oh wait, its jagex, theyre money hungry.

You guys can think were getting exactly what we want back, but were not, and this is what jagex wants, to bring back something they know we all like, such at 2007scape, so that with that they can cover up what they really want. Which is money, which they will get from the damn 13/month.

You forget that Jagex is a business, that needs money to survive.

nah i dont forget that, i know that, and also businesses want the most money they can get out of something. They could easily just do a separate membership option so we can choose if we can to pay 5/month and only pay for 2007scape but they wont do that simply because they know they can milk people out of money by charging both games (eoc+2007) combined in order to make more profit.
