Why is Suicide illegal?

Well in my opinion suicide is illegal because if you attempt it then others will go for it when something bad happens to them...but for the most part there is no point...in making it illegal...if your going to kill yourself they cant really stop you.

Well It depends on the Country you live in but normally yes.

 

I live in the US so it could happen to me. Well, if someone wants to kill themself and go to Hell for a while, it's their choice... Maybe it could... erem... Solve overpopulation crisis?

Don't think about what the word murder usually entails. Think about whether or not people have the right to end their own life without anybody else butting in. Why wouldn't they?

Well, obviously they have the right to want to kill themselves, but yes, I'm saying that they should have the right to actually do it.

Well don't waste the cash on an investigation if they left a suicide note telling 'em why and how they killed themselves.

 

Well, it could be a framing.

 

It creates conflict. When you kill yourself, I have to pick up the tab. I don't want to pay for your death, you fat piece of shit. You can leave a pile of cash behind if you're going to off yourself.

I don't really believe that. I was just playing devils advocate, calm down. If you willingly kill yourself, that's your choice. I don't really care.



For the record - You don't get arrested if you try to kill yourself and fail. You'll probably get therapy. Arresting you is going to make your life more traumatic and isn't going to solve your suicidal problems.
