Why does PlayerAuctions get favouritism?

So I've noticed that PlayerAuctions seems to get a lot of favouritism here on Sythe.

There has been multiple negative reports on this site regarding them scamming innocent users.

I understand that they do not actively use the market but why not actually pursue a DNT on their account until they resolve the issues rather than DNT-Banning them.

Quoting @video on this topic (PlayerAuctions is a scam) it says:

The whole purpose of the RaS section is so that users get protection for issues that arise to them. If offsite scamming is no longer a reportable offence then why is it not edited in the actual Sythe rules?

 

They use PM's as a way of communicating with customers. By DNTing them, then how do you expect them to communicate with people who need assistance via Sythe. Also the Playerauctions Issues Resolution thread is located in the Market Discussion section of the forums, so by placing a DNT on Playerauctions how do you expect them to communicate with their customers at all? By the protocol you're asking for you'd be basically restricting them from all communication ability.

EDIT: Also you have to keep in mind that PA is only on Sythe during business days; I.E. they aren't available on weekends.

 

Their resolution thread can easily be moved to the Community General section. There is more than one place in which they can communicate in. Moving the thread wouldn't be a big deal whatsoever.

 

I don't see why it should be moved there. It fits perfectly fine in the Market Discussion section, and there are way too many stickys in the Community General section, which would make it harder to find for newcomers, and flood the section with more unneeded stickys (it is needed, but it shouldn't be moved there I.E. it's fine the way it is). From personal experience I used PM's as a form of communication in contacting PA as I feel more comfortable speaking privately about an issue I may run into with them, but that's my preference.

 

The playerauctions account is just a sythe-resolution account. For well over a year now they actually have been resolving the issues of sythe users in the general playerauctions thread. There's hardly any favoritism going on toward playerauctions. They are not being compensated for the help they provide our members and their thread is just a dumping ground for all kinds of accusations and reports of scamming that their employee deals with. The post I made that you quoted is long outdated and that particular issue was resolved (OP had left out quite a bit of information including his own wrongdoing).

You seem to have a pretty big misunderstanding of the function of playerauctions on this site so I am just going to close this thread. If you have any further questions feel free to pm me
