Scamming is just so sad to do.

 

As everyone above has said, no in real life repercussions, quick easy $$, not old enough to realize the true harm it does to people

 

i think it has to do mostly with greed and maturity. Everyone is born with some sort of moral compass, and as you get older, the compass gets more calibrated.

Most of the scammers on here are pretty young, which means they never had the chance to know the difference between wrong and right (for the most part) and its a joke to them. There's no guilt left behind when you don't have a person to match the guilt to. This is why their moral compass is 'broken' in a sense, because they literally haven't grown the hell up.

 

They don't know who they are scamming irl. Just another person online to a scammer - plus no legal consequences

 

I guess some people just want quick and easy money and don't see that in the long run that they can make more money if they were legit and just built up a service... It's such a disgusting and psychopathic thing to do and it's hard to understand exactly why people do it

 

I think it's super easy for certain people to scam over the internet because they can cut all ties with whom ever they scammed and not have to think too much about repercussions. One day they will scam the wrong person and karma will catch up.

 

This and because people are selfish assholes.

 

We're all pricks, every last one of us.

Mostly greed I feel like. Or if they plan on quitting Sythe I guess. I got scammed $160 from someone doing that :/

People just see easy money and don't think of the person on the other end being affected. It's sad.
