Should be untradeable if they bring them back..let the economy be run by non rare items.

 

what is with everyone's obsession with rares right now holy shit. the economy is being rebuilt right now and is very unstable and people want to bring in pointless rares to fuck it up again? no. completely against rares coming into the game.

 

Or just release it as a community event. That way it does not mess with the economy and everyone is happy.

 

the only way that i see them to enter into the game would be to make them untradeable and/or give them to the people with seniority i.e give to the people who have been playing for at least 7+ years and have been active since then (or at least with a total level of 1800 or so). but nobody would ever agree with me so fuck you.

 

fuck rares so pointless and they wont even be rares for a year or so anyways so why dose anyone cARE about changing 07 people cry about playing eoc and wana change 07 just be happy with what we got

 

I agree with you. I think if they come back they should be untradable. Why on earth would Jagex let another economy be ruined over these rares.

 

Tradable holiday items should be given out via Treasure Trails, just like 3rd age armour.

Untradable ones during holiday events.

 

I really don't care about them.. I'm just happy that the server is open.

 

Idk see why they cant come back in the same way they originally did just with tradable ones. MAke the chance of recieving one much slimmer to cut back on the total number that exist. It would screw up the game And the rarest rares wouldnt be added till after summer going on like 6 months so i dont see why thAt isnt. Viable

 

I want to see Bunny ears, don't care about the rest.

 

Would be cool for top people on hiscores each month.

 

Rares won't be rares.

Back when the original tradable rares were released, 50k active players didn't go around trying to hoard as much as they could knowing the future. People have seen what happened, and everyone will hoard it, just like fish masks.

Back then the phats aren't what people were after, it was the rune items you could get from it.

Aka botters. Unless you mean overall, then there are people with less of a life than bots. Nah, just more efficient.

Only thinng that would make sence would be them adding them into clue scroll rewards, but I don't think that it should be done. I vote no rares, they just corrupt the population as a whole in my opinion.

 

Just make the dude from Draynor sell them. Or Party Pete. Done.

 

They should make the rares transferable between a player's EoC and 07 accounts if possible. This is the only way, in my eyes, that rares could maintain their value when bringing them onto 07.

 

This. Make them a money sink and untrade-able. So you spend say 400m on items but cannot get that money back. That way at least a portion of the money entering the games goes back out.

 

3rd age is going to be more rare than "rares". They might as well just continue doing holiday events that give holiday items (not trade-able).

 

Would like to see rares in 2007 & making them a reward on rare drop table does sound interesting.

I think Rares should be in the game, but they should be obscenely rare. Like 1/100 chance of getting one when you level a skill to 99 type rare. The money sink idea of having them come from a npc is a great idea as well
