When should your children move out

Depends on the circumstances but I'd say early or mid-twenties and definitely before 30.

 

i agree with what your saying. some parents i feel like have no mercy it's kinda weird to see

 

I'm 22 and still living with my parents. In Asian culture, that's not weird or looked down upon.

 

Family relations are way more important in Asian cultures than the western ones. Obviously, there are some exceptions here and there.

 

Agreed. My parents are old, I want to spend time with them before they pass away, dunno what the big issue is

 

Whenever you are ready to, from the age I started working full time (17) I would pay my way monthly in my parents house just so I understood the value of money properly, so i would know it will be like when that time comes to move out.

That being said I moved out at the age of 20 with my girlfriend, rented for 5 years and now have a mortgage on that very same home as of June last year, now I have son who's 3 weeks old. It's all about when you are ready and can have stability, don't rush to move out if a couple months down the line you are going to be moving back.

 

i don't look down upon people like this either, too many people judge nowadays

 

I'm 19 and living at home. I pay my mom monthly,I have enough to move out I just like saving and helping out. I believe a child should be at home till he/she is comfortable money wise and mentally otherwise its just a mess going out there
