100$ + Donation.
500+ Posts
200+ Vouches.
50 + Big Vouches by respected people.
At least a member for a year.

That's what I deem trusted.

That or someone I've traded with plenty of times.

 

for me to trust someone id look for quality vouches and a few large trades, now 100 account upgrade sales.
also $50+ donators are much less likely to scam

 

Yeah, never assume people will not scam for less than they've donated. They may feel they can get away with it/ scam many people to make up for it/ their donation has already served its purpose in getting them business and they want to just quit. Things like that.

I take vouches into account, but also how helpful they are and how good a person they seem.

 

It's a factor of many variables, not just one thing or another.

Vouches and quality of trades is obviously a big one, but you also need to factor in join date, post count, quality of posts and activity.

 

^ this + there maturity level and the way they converse about the trade your interested in doing. I've been trading for so long i can tell right off the bat if some one is trying to waste my time thats why ill most likely be a little bit more linient in how i speak to them but when it comes to some one who is serious about doing a trade i'll be more proffesional about it so it does go both ways.

 

Vouches and pictures/text that proves your trusted and the way you talk.

 

Trusted is just a word, anyone can use it.

Trusted just means a bunch of people would trust you to go first in one of their trades.

 

Have a lot of posts, and be legit and have a lot of vouches.

 

I think "trusted" can be gauged by letting someone bot a big order for you (you pay Rsgp), and they actually do it. I look for those vouches, and vouches where you successfully trade Irl items with someone.

Account vouches don't really mean that much to me, because the original owner of the account can recover it whenever he/she wants to.

 

I think trust depends on how many vouches you have, how long you have been on Sythe, how you present yourself on the forum and if you have donated or not.

 

When i look at how trusted someone are i look at
- Post count (i have never traded anyone with 50- post count)
- Vouches (obvious reasons)
- Join date (obvious reasons)
- Donator rank ( i don't really mind if people aren't i'll still trade with them but if they have a good donator rank im more likely to go first)

 

This is my view on who/what is "Trusted"

Not only active, but HELPFUL in the community
High value donator
Large number of QUALITY vouches(none of this "trained my attack to 20, thanks!!111" bullshit you see all too often

Those are the steps to becoming "trusted"

I personally came to sythe and started working my way up by doing training, questing, and small value middlemans. Look at me today.

I honestly think one word sums up who is, and who isn't trusted on Sythe; reputation.

If you have a solid reputation, then the degree of trust people bestow onto you increases exponentially. Though, reputation for the most part is dependent on what n4n0 said.

 

People seem to put trusted in their title to get people to look at their service first. Some people use this as a ploy to scam others. I myself do not vouches so i would never put the words "trusted" in the title. Trusted should be plenty of vouches and someone who is frequently on this website.

You have 16 vouches. I'm very disappointed in this community if people with less vouches than you are putting "Trusted" in their topic title.

 

I consider myself very trusted too, have dealt with over 300 people and all happy with my customer service, everyone keeps returning for more and they don't have any problems paying me before hand..
I think vouches, testimonials in my case, are the most important thing about getting trusted.

 

Members who are over 2-3 years old with a lot of vouches are trusted in my eyes.

 

i agree that your reputation on sythe deems you trusted or not. But when im looking at a thread i always do this to see if the seller is Trusted.

1st: Join Date
2nd : Post Count
3rd : Vouches.

i never do trades with someone that has been on sythe for a very short period of time or that has extremely low post count. And if you think logically, if your a new member, with low posts, you will not have many vouches.

Just check the vouches and you will be fine. Remember: Do not see the quantity, quality is what matters.
