Funniest time on Runescape?!
Umm..
Maybe back in 2009 when I got a friend from school to start playing.
He trained his account into a mid level pure with 61 ranged, picked + spun flax for a dark bow and then lost it within 5 minutes of his first pk trip.
His loss was my gain in laughter.

Must have been late 2008 or early 2009
D claws and Bandos had not been out very long, I sold a bunch of green masks and had the biggest cash stack of my life.
I bought full Bandos, D Claws, Arcane SS, Maxed mage (at the time)
And I was rushing people in BH / PVP
Anyway, I was having a grand ole time. Then this guy added me and was like “Bro you’re so badass blah blah blah”
Got me to jump on a Skype call with him and his buddy, and then fight him at like lvl 1 wildy.
So of course I did, then as I’m merking him, I DC.
Couldn’t log on for like 10 min
Logged on, was dead of course, lost bank, which was like 500M back then...
he then posted a YT video of him killing me with some flagrant music and sent it to me.
First time I learned about DDOSing lol.
I wasn’t happy then, as I was 15, but definitely a funny experience looking back.

When I started the game and my memvership said 0 days lost all motivation to play just funny.

 

When I was 10 years old enjoying the game, but 10 years later and I am still playing this medieval game for kids lol

 

Had the most botch raid doing raid drinking games where basically anytime you messed something up or took damage had to drink. Was a blast with good company.

 

Pking with a clan, and all of us piling the caller of our own clan :>

 

For me funniest thing was when all PVM'ers joined forces and attacked small PVP clan, in revenant caves.

I had just finished getting 99 RC on my main (pre EOC), about 2 months later that wonderful update Runespan graced me with is manifestation.... not really funny but ehh.

 

I once met a distant relative through RS, my brother mentioned my RSN to them and randomly one day I was walking to Varrock from Lumbridge. Minding my own business and thinking how many "people" are playing. I randomly right clicked a guys name stood still and he shouted for me. Eventually verified them and it was surreal moment.

 

not necessarily a funny story, but i figured I would share, when i was younger my dad would get mad at me and my brother for playing runescape at night and unplug our router.. one night this happened to happen during a 30m stake! which was alot back then! hahaha.. well we didn't know if we won or not until the next morning, the anticipation was so great until the next morning we found out we won!!!

 

Back in 2005 (when I was 9 years old) I got into the frog's random event and I started crying because I thought I would be stuck on that place forever. Same happened once I entered draynor manor mansion, I tried leaving the same way I got in and couldn't so I started crying and asked my brother for help.

 

This doesn't count as a moment instead it's many moments but for the last many years this guy at World 302 Varrock West Bank who I believe is either the best troll I have ever seen or he's a total incel.

He Claims that he's a 26 year old virgin says stupid stuff like "why don't girls like dick" and shit talks some of the girls he finds in the bank/asks why they wouldn't fuck him and has even gone through with death threats against these girls for seemingly no good reason (he has gone through many accounts). His name is Eyephone and you might see him around at 302 Varrock West Bank.
