We have so many different people who visit Sythe coming from all different parts of the world so I'm curious to know what you all do for a living.

For those of you who are currently not working, what do you PLAN on doing with your life in terms of a career?

Currently I'm working in a repair shop for skis and snowboards. Throughout the summer I previously worked as part of a grounds maitenance crew for a local golf course and this year I'm looking at driving a rig (18 wheeler) doing deliveries while waiting/looking for a career in the firefighting field.

I'm a welding inspector / none-destructive testing technician. I travel most of Europe and the Middle-East and earn a decent living. I sometimes get involved with freelance web programming too, as I enjoy it.

I work with a security firm. Sometimes at gigs taking tickets and doing crowd control and sometimes just standing around in department stores in shopping malls. It varies every week which is what I like most about it.

I plan to have a career in border control (HM Revenue and Customs) after I return to Uni in September to do a degree in Criminal Justice.

I'm a voice/data sub contractor for banks, If a bank is building a new branch or a renovation one they've acquired I'll go in rough the cable plant, terminate/test/label voice and data jacks, then when they're ready for me I'll install the computers/server/switch/etc. . .

One bank in particular has us build the computers for them and configure the servers, others just have us cable the bank and install.

I also

- Install speakers in banks
- Update/upgrade bank pc's (currently moving about 250 computers to win7 since xp is no longer supported)
- Pretty much the banks bitch whatever they need computer/network related we make happen.

EDIT: And its the bane of my existence...pc's are finicky bitches.

Full time university student to one day become a chemical engineer or hopefully PhD/Research in chemical engineering lab at my current university. As for current income I have a shitty part time job and some income comes from Sythe.

I work in a library. I sit on facebook, watch youtube videos, and direct people to the bathroom for $13/hr

I'm a full time student majoring in Computer Science. I work as a horse nurse on the weekends. I've got an internship as a software developer lined up for the summer. Graduating in December and I hope the company extends me a full time offer.

I'm currently not employed, but I might became an English teacher in the future.

Certainly not with grammar like that!

Currently a full-time student -- looking to pursue a master's once I'm finished undergrad.

Currently full-time student. Well, taking a gap semester right now for the spring semester. Recently, accepted into United States Military Academy. Going to follow my brother down the path of the military. So my goals are to be an officer in the army and from there no idea.

See how I like it. Required to do 5 years. If I like it stay if not gonna follow the path of Biology which is my current major. Maybe to be a doctor. Idk.

Right now just focused on getting through USMA.
