VPSes for botting - Talk about them here!

All I keep hearing is PhotonVPS. Anyone have some other legit non reseller sites?
PhotonVPS is great, but I'm looking for super cheap services as I am purchasing bulk.

Burst.net it might be a bit late but they sell 1gb ram for $10 i believe their not resellers they are the current companies which provide these.

I'm using PhotonVPS Warp 4 - It works fine but getting customer support sucked and I ended up having someone from VPSinfinity teamview to help me set up the botclient. As far as the VPS I can 7 bots easily on 4GB of ram and haven't tried to run more but will do in the future.

BurstNET no longer allows botting (they banned it early Sept. 2010)

SeerHost provides quality VPSs for botting and very competitive pricing. They also come setup for botting and there's support for it to match.

There's a short promo right now for 25% off. The code is *******25

Does the operating system have to be Linux, in order to use PhotonVPS?

i need a simple vps that can run 3-5 bots with little to no lag. Suggestion?

Whats the cheapest vps i can get that can run 4 bots? Not very resource craving bots like sw.

You're going to need 2 gb of dedicated ram, so anything that fits that description and is cheap will work for you. Personally myself, I would recommend photon because it is very stable.

Is Photon down right now? Whenever I try to connect to mine via VNC-Viewer and PuTTy, I get a connection error "unable to connect to host: Connection refused (10061)"

Load the bot client and I get this every time.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem is? I have had this before and I fixed it by installing an older version of the client, but this time I tried every version I could and it still shuts down. I am going to give it another day before re-trying, hopefully it will work, but if you guys can help me out that would be AWESOME :)

by FAR the cheapest VPS compony ^
Though the support is shitty.

On the $15 a month plan I can easily run 5+ bots :3

Yep, using that company, they even let you pay abit later for 2nd month...
Support is fine for me, 1-2 hr to respond email.
It was NEVER down in over a month, just had some problems in the beggining cos I was noob lol, srsly it's not worse than photon and photon is like, what, 5 times more expensive? lol
P.S. use it on your own risk, they do not 'allow' botting, but they don't give a crap :P

It's 100% oversold. They're on quad core Xeon's - you can't pull the specs they offer without overselling.

You need a Xen VPS to ensure dedicated resources, OpenVZ is basically shared resources - nothing is dedicated and is hugely oversold.
