VPSes for botting - Talk about them here!

Does anyone know where seerhost's VPS' are located?

 

PhotonVPS is the best for botting. They are a little more expensive than the rest, but well worth it! I have a link in my sig if you are interested.

And Grrrr, I'm not 100% sure. If you have a VPS from there, you can always look it up. or they may say on the site. I think Photon is from Cali or something

 

As long as you order a "Xen" VPS, Photon will not stop you from botting.

 

I'm totally new to both the discussion of VPSes and how to use them. I'm looking to run maybe 2/3 RSBuddy scripts with minimal lag. Could someone link to a decent VPS which would support this and a bit of information on it? Would be much appreciated. Thanks!

 

You could try SeerHost Silver plan or PhotonVPS Warp 2.

I would try Photon VPS Xen Warp 3. It would be quite difficult to get 3 RSBuddy clients running on Warp 2, and the two that you could get would be laggy.

2) Photon VPS Xen Warp 2 will easily be able to handle 1 bot with no lag, no matter what client or bot it is, since you have a full GB of RAM to work with.

3) As long as you order a Xen package, they do allow botting.

I know this is expensive but is this legit / enough to run those bots?

 

In my experience (from PhotonVPS 1GB package), running 2 RSBuddy bots takes 75-85% of the RAM. I don't think that would be enough to run 4.

I liked photon vps but when I tried to upgrade they said they would not subtract the price of the old one. I then asked for a refund as it was before 30 days and they denied it. I would not use them again.

First, Photon has already said they will deny all refund requests from botters. End of discussion there. Second, Photon is hands down the best VPS company out there (IMO). Some say seershost is better and stuff. But coming from a photon customer with multiple vpses up and running, it simply can't be beat.

I have never used botvps. However, most people say to avoid it at all costs. What are you using the VPS for? Botting i'm assuming? This could help me give you more details.

 

Never ever use botvps. I have never heard of someone who was happy at all with what they paid for. I know you have had trouble with photon, but I find them fantastic.

 

I'm looking ot buy a VPS, probably of Photon, would need one that can handle 2-4 bots, wich one of them should I use? Any help apreciated.

Also, if I end up buying one, I would probably need help with setting a bot up, couse I have no experience in using Linux, so if anyone is willing to help, I'd gladly take it when the time comes

 

I was forced to chargeback last time with photon. If we use my dads paypal this time and he pays for it do you think they will hold it against me?

Photon's Xen warp 3 can run 4 bots. Currently have one that is doing so.

Is it the same paypal address that you charged back on? If so, you will more than likely not be allowed to order again.
This time be sure to get the right package. It's unfair to photon that they have to pay for your mistake.

 

@Mike they told me from the start that the zap 1 would work "great" and that I was allowed to bot on it. Also they had a 30 day moneu back guanantee.

If photons live chat told you that, the guy either misunderstood or you misunderstood because photon has openly said they will not allow bots on anything except xen.

Also they said they will not refund botters due to people using for a while then refunding there money back when done with the bot. Sorry that your past experience wasn't good, but I have had nothing but good personally. Give it another try, this time on xen and you shouldn't be disappointed.
