You need a computer - but it doesn't need to be on all the time. You just need any regular old computer so that you can connect to the VPS, set up your bots, and then disconnect. I bought the Warp2 CentOS 5.5 32bit package from PhotonVPS and I got it all set up and working so I can access the internet via my VPS. But when I go to rsbot.net and try to download the bot, it saves it but when i click on it to install, it has no applications to use to install it with. Would like some help if i could get some. Thanks.

 

The new installer is a Jar file. The easiest way to download and install it is through a terminal, so open up one on your VPS and type the following:

java -jar Installer.jar

Pretty straight forward after that as it's just like on a normal computer

What exactly is the difference between using a 1-2 GB VPS or using a 4+ GB one?
Also, what does it do actually? Save you electricity? But what I'm really wondering is, does it my own personal monthly internet? I don't have unlimited :c

It does not use any of your internet, except when you are setting it up/looking at the bot. You can leave it running and use none of your own internet.

Yes, 1-2GB is fine, that will allow you to run 2-4 accounts with no lag. It can run 24/7.

Hey guys, I've got a situation on my hands :S

My brother bought a VPS with his credit card about 6 months ago. The company charged his card the first month and for some odd reason he has not been charged these last 5 months. He gave the VPS to me since he does not use it, so I wanted to see if it was possible for the VPS company to re-send me the VPS details in an email. My brother deleted the email long ago so I only have the information to access the VPS via Putty and the password for VNCviewer. The thing is I don't know which VPS provider he bought from but I am pretty sure it was ThrustVPS.

How would I go about receiving an email from ThrustVPS with the VPS information? I would provide root password and VNCviewer password to show that it's my VPS.

Also, I mentioned I was unsure that he used ThrustVPS. Is it possible to find out which VPS provider hosts my VPS?
