Bronze plan from Seerhost would work great.

They don't support botting- you'll get suspended or it won't work. Check their TOS

 

Photonvps' Xen Warp 2 package or Seerhost's Bronze package. If you can only pay with paypal you'll have to buy from photonvps.

Basically a vps is a virtual private server. The point of it is to run your bot 24/7. Yes you can run your bot 24/7 on your own computer, but that requires electricity and for your computer to be on at all times. A vps is basically a virtual computer that is on 24/7 for you to run your bot on

Got an interesting question: Does anyone know how much electricity you'd use running your PC 24/7 for a month? Will it exceed the cost of a VPS?

Pritell is nice and cheap (see my siggy). The only downside is that they aren't "quite" as reliable as more mainstream VPS providers. In my experience, they might be 2-3 times for a couple hours each in a month. Still, considering they're around 1/3 the price....

I think a good rule of thumb is 512mb of RAM for each bot. You might be able to run 3 bots on 1GB, but not 4.

 

Anyone know how to update java on linux vps?

 

You would want at least Warp 3 with 2gb ram to run all of those bots.

That site has a cheap 4gb ram, might try them out later.

Warp 2 xen from photon. That will run at least 2 bots, maybe three. Honestly, when dealing with VPS you don't want to risk buying a "cheap" vps. Most of the time these cheap vps are of low quality and don't even support Runescape botting, not to mention if the price on a VPS is cheap the customer support is probably horrible. Photonvps has above average customer support in my opinion, although others feel differently.

They allow Runescape botting, however they would have no idea how to fix a problem Runescape related. If you are looking for customer service that knows a thing or two about Runescape botting go with Seerhost perhaps.. they even have the rsbots.net client pre-installed on your vps when you get it.

Another vps you may want to look into is botvps, however I don't know much about them. I'm only assuming they allow Runescape botting because of their name XD
