User Education has been removed.

The staff as a whole thought that the complete removal of user education was the best thing to do. We decided that the section, while a good idea at first, was pretty much pointless. The user educator rank has also been removed.

Feel free to post suggestions about what should be done with the guides.

Bitching about losing a rank will earn an infraction.

 

Hmm. I never really had the impression that the whole concept did what it was intended...it seemed like people just tried to get the rank...

well, why not make a forum with the guides posted, like yakov's idea, and have one person or two moderate it, so that anyone can post guides there, just make it a moderated forum (ie: posts require that sectional's apporval before being posted)

I agree with TDD, the lounge is always getting these posts of dumb guides. I am glad User Education is gone, it was barley used... and alot of people just wanted to get into it for the rank.

 

It's for the best. Never really cared about the UE anyways. people that got the rank act like they're better than others like "OH MAI GAWD I R MOAR TRUZDED CAUZ I R UE"

IMO head user education as a whole was pointless but it did have some good guides. Hence the reason the user educators should compile all the best and most useful guides into a forum and call it the how to forum or something.

I actually read some of those guides, is there gonna be an archive for it? I might want to get some of those guides, especially the one pen made about making a post lol.
