    Ok it CAN be deleted but I found the solution here: XF 1.4 - Question about the permission "Delete profile posts by self"

    No - "Delete profile posts by self" only applies for profile posts created by the member on his/her own profile only. So set that to No and youre good Matt. if you want reply here once you did that and I can confirm for you

    That's not quite right. From the XenForo developers:

    Neither of these will really work because I don't want to take user's ability to manage posts on their profile away completely and since the post will be by another user the "delete profile posts by self" permission is useless.

    Profile posts may not work if this is how the permissions are structured.

    I'm not really interested in adding a plugin for this, it's not worth it. If anything the user title idea may be best as it's visible on posts and profiles. The only sticky part will be that donors can request user titles changes so we'll have to block that for DNT/TWC people or just make sure we deny those requests.

    I'm thinking if we make the link on the UT, people will be able to easily see it. If it's in the profile comments, it might be hard for some people to find (not everyone will know to look where) whereas in the UT it's easily visible for everyone.

    How easy would it be to write a tool to change this automatically?

    What do you mean by automatically? I can add a tool to ModCP to let mods change user titles so someone would just have to go do it (since someone would have to provide the thread link).

    You click the button to apply the TWC, and it would prompt you for a link. You input that link and apply the TWC. This would add a TWC rank and change the UT to say "Click HERE to see why I have a TWC" and the here would be the link you input

    @Matthew IS this feasible/possible? It sounds like a great automated way to TWC a user. Also, is there a way we can have a dedication section somewhere just for TWC's. Like TWC Archives. In the archives make the thread title to say "[TWC] UserA's TWC Report". You could incorporate this into Dun's idea

    Yes the tool is possible. I don't think we need yet another archive for users stupidity. Just put them under report a scammer archive or something. If there's a link in their title, it's easy enough to find.

    Edit: Also, before I get confused... We're talking about TWC and not DNT? Where are we going to draw the line between them?

    I personally don't care. Just need to make sure everyone is in agreement on what each rank's respective purpose is and how they work. But, it would probably make sense for DNT people to have a link too explaining why you shouldn't trade with them. I'm not sure who DNT was given to though... May want to get Sythe's opinion as I think he gave a lot of them out.

    This is regarding TWC. Hopefully people are not silly enough to be trading with users who have a DNT tag. It's only really necessary for the staff to have the reason why they have a DNT, which isn't hard for us to get.

    If you want to consider this idea fully developed and you're ready to request it be implemented, you should close this thread/mark it approved and file a feature request in the Bug Tracker. Feel free to reference the thread in the ticket. I work those tickets, not these suggestion threads.
