TwC with link to most relevant report

Support! I've dealt with some TWC's, and I always have to ask why they got it, when it happened, etc. Unless somehow admins can't implement this, there's no reason not to add this.

 

I really support this idea. It would really help newer users who don't know how to navigate sythe's forums and find a TWC on a player (or by doing a google search). All it can do is help people 100000% support

 

If an addition to the existing TWC system where you copy & paste a link and it automatically hyperlinks the individual's TWC reasoning was implemented then I'd be all for it however that's the only way I could see it being feasible

 

Could someone explain as to why will hyperlinked TWC's not happen again?

I don't see how it would be difficult to write up a small thread and then archive it, and have the TWC icon link to the thread created. It would help because I have seen users in the past ask for a TWC because they plan to let their Sythe account be inactive, where other users are pardoned for scamming and are allowed back with a TWC. There are so many different reasons why someone would have a TWC, you can't look at the icon and assume anything about the user, and in some cases it is incredibly difficult to find anything on the specific case as a lot of the TWC discussion and reasoning is behind the scenes.


Also, you get the case where you have people trying to explain why they have a TWC. Take Deathsnova for example, who wrote up his version of why he had a TWC in his signature. This leads users to believe a skewed sense of the truth, as opposed to the legitimate reason assigned by the staff.

I know this is small, but it could go a long way to help prevent confusion and protect users of this site.

 

Yes, support. I don't tend to trade with TWCs for my own reasons, but if it showed why they were given it, I might consider it.

 

On the assumption that it doesn't consume too much time or too many resource, then yeah, I undoubtedly agree that this should implemented. I've got a feeling that it can be done, I've seen some of the complex stuff that Matthew and Sythe have done before.

Support, if it will take a lot of time, hire some people to help out the people doing it. I'm sure there will be plenty of people that will help with the costs of hiring and some highly trusted people that would be willing to help code it.

 

This shouldn't take a lot of time, don't see why it isn't already implemented.

I think it should also work for Banned users too because I often see people Banned but I'd like to know why they were Banned. It would help newer users get to know the rules better.

Tbh even from a moderating perspective, do you know how much of a fuckin godsend it'd be to be able to find out why a user has a TwC instead of googling the report? dang

 

This was denied in the past because not every TWC reason is based on a scam report, it could be for a variety of reasons or something that is restricted to the staff lounge.

 

Link should be provided regardless. There is always documentation somewhere about it, staff lounge or not. A link to a staff lounge thread is already hidden from regular users so there'd be no issue.

 

Don't see a reason why not tbh, makes sense to link it.
