TWC Links

Would it be possible for a users TWC rank to be clickable and link to the reason they got the TWC? Or even have their user title set to like "Click here for TWC reason" or something similar? For some people they made a small mistake and get slapped with a TWC without people knowing why. It'd just make doing background checks on people easier tbh.

 

Most people just include a link to their reason in their signature if it's sufficient enough.

Could be helpful I guess tho.

 

Better suggestion:

Staff members should pm users stating why they got the twc after applying/requesting it.

A simple link to the report thread should suffice.

Only problem I have with people advertising why they got it themselves is because they could lie about it. If someone was given a TWC for something more serious, they could easily lie about it.

It's been suggested before, but I have no idea why it's not considered, though it's most likely because we're on vB 3.6.4 which blows, and you can't hyperlink ranks.

Nope, personal experience learned me that a TWC is not always related to trust. It can also be caused by making not accepting graphics or not being friendly on skype. In that case a clickable TWC would be handy.

or when TWC'ing you're asked to put the reason/link and it overrides usertitle or something - would be easier than rank hyperlinking the way things are right now

or globals could just stick the ut request in the admin requests thread

 

Seems like it'd be easier for the TWC members to just put a link to their sig that leads to the thread that gave them the TWC.

 

This has been suggested before and I supported it then. There are a pretty broad array of twc reasonings.

I've had to ask "why" far too many times. I'd definitely appreciate this being automated.

Not really, lots are given out with little to no relation to trust or trading

 

Trading and trust go hand in hand.

 

All should be treated equally. If one isn't warranted it'll get removed via dispute. All remaining TWC's should be treated equally to avoid any misshaps.
