Why does something have to have created everything? Doesn't it make more sense that the universe has just always existed than a god always existing that then made the universe?

No sorry. I don't believe that everything on the earth and around it (which is so perfect and amazing) just came to be and created itself. Why is it so hard to believe a God did create everything?

There aren't any scientific proofs of the quran or it's validity, or of allah for that matter. None of it stands up against peer review or any real standard of evidence. I'm sorry, but you've been lied to your entire life and you'll probably never figure that out for the rest of it.

Evolution is true. There is no debate, only denial.

There is absolutely no evidence that allah created the world, or any other god.

It is hard to believe god created anything in the same way it is hard to believe a rabbit created everything, because there is no evidence.

 

No atheists are going to change their beliefs because of this thread.

No Christians are going to change their beliefs because of this thread.

Religion is not even an interesting debate topic anymore it's just the same arguments by both sides every time.

 

The point of an argument is not to win, but to show both sides. If you are smart enough to see both sides, then the point of the thread has been gained.

Right, how often do you see Christians accepting atheism or atheists accepting Christianity? All these threads result in his 'no you're wrong' - you can't be a Christian and accept atheism because that would be believing in God and also believing he doesn't exist.

 

Even if nobody is going to change their mind, I find debating fun, especially debating creationists.

And some people do change their minds.

Find me a post where someone has said 'oh shit that is some compelling evidence, Christianity must be true' or vice versa.

I will not reply to Pm either. I'm not admitting defeat, losing, or any variant of that, but I am choosing to drop out of this argument because it's only brought me distress.
