Just a note, if you believe in a higher power you're probably not an agnostic but a deist.

yeah, you seem to be correct. I guess i was mis informed ;P

To you Christians, I honestly do not believe that the Bible has valid
information, as there are many different "versions" of the bible that have
slightly different details included inside it. Yet the Qur'an is one book, and
only one version, and is detailed with facts of the creation of this world.
Why does something have to have created everything? Doesn't it make more sense that the universe has just always existed than a god always existing that then made the universe?maybe the water did put the sand there, but who created the water, and so on. Once you get to the first creation in the cycle, the question comes down to who created that?
sounds like an argument against religionJust because a whole bunch of people believe and accept a theory, that doesn't make it fact.
i'm guessing you probably don't understand the scientific definition of a theory.if there was enough proof to make it true, it wouldn't be called a theory anymore.![]()
Just because science can't explain something, doesn't mean that it isn't true haha. And because you love your science so much, look at the quran; a booik revealed about 1500 years ago and it has a lot of things that have been discovered recently in detail.Explain that? There isn't only one thing on the earth being round or whatever, there are many many scientific proofs in the quran. You being ignorant as you are won't go and look them up and actually listen to the facts that are given to you. Instead you sit there and come up with excuses dumber than yourself.

what exactly are these scientific proofs in the quran?
Why is it so hard to believe a God did create everything?
No sorry. I don't believe that everything on the earth and around it (which is so perfect and amazing) just came to be and created itself. Why is it so hard to believe a God did create everything?
No atheists are going to change their beliefs because of this thread.
No Christians are going to change their beliefs because of this thread.
Religion is not even an interesting debate topic anymore it's just the same arguments by both sides every time.
Whether you believe it or not doesn't make it true.
Evolution is true. There is no debate, only denial.
There is absolutely no evidence that allah created the world, or any other god.
It is hard to believe god created anything in the same way it is hard to believe a rabbit created everything, because there is no evidence.
Evolution is NOT true only theory. It's not fact yet. Google + History books.
The point of an argument is not to win, but to show both sides. If you are smart enough to see both sides, then the point of the thread has been gained.
Right, how often do you see Christians accepting atheism or atheists accepting Christianity? All these threads result in his 'no you're wrong' - you can't be a Christian and accept atheism because that would be believing in God and also believing he doesn't exist.

Even if nobody is going to change their mind, I find debating fun, especially debating creationists.
And some people do change their minds.
Lack of proof mostly.
There aren't any scientific proofs of the quran or it's validity, or of allah for that matter. None of it stands up against peer review or any real standard of evidence. I'm sorry, but you've been lied to your entire life and you'll probably never figure that out for the rest of it.
Watch the video.
Really? You're just gonna skip over that whole post in which I made you look like a complete jackass?
Your persistence shows your unwillingness to debate. Thus, I'm concluding that this thread is nothing more than an advertisement and feel like it should no longer continue. You clearly have no intention of engaging in a proper debate, and are only making yourself look worse.
Watch the video.
Don't waste my time. It's apparent that I've watched the video as I've been refuting it for the past 1.5 days. Just because you--or those sickening, disingenuous faith leaders you have--want to label something as scientific does not make it scientific. The whole video was full of quote-mining, ambiguity whoring, arguments from ignorance, or, what I like to call it: the dying breath of a faith struggling to keep up in an ever-advancing thread. So, next time don't waste the posters who are dishing out the counter-evidence towards that sketchy nonsense you call a video by posting "Watch the video". When we've all watched it.
You have yet to explain to me how a book that was written over 1500 years ago knew some scientific facts that were just recently discovered.
I have said it a thousand fucking times. It abuses ambiguity. <<<<< That sentence right there means that your holy book is nothing special.
Ambiguity: # an expression whose meaning cannot be determined from its context
# unclearness by virtue of having more than one meaning
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
You quote mine << which fucking means that you choose passages that are extra, stupidly ambiguous and abuse them to death with your faith rod >>
The quran is not peer-reviewed, it will never be peer-reviewed in a society that has some decency and standards of evidence, and these last grasps at trying to struggle towards science in an ever increasing gap is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_of_the_gaps
Your book is no more special than any of doctor seuss, and in all likelyhood allah has done shit to prove to a majority of the world that he's special/real/"the one true god". Last post. If you quote this, someone else will be answering.
I repeat: neither allah, mohammed, nor the quran are special in any way, shape, or form, and it is entirely disgusting to see how badly that your faith has ruined your thought process. You are the product of indoctrination and chronic lying.
I will not reply to Pm either. I'm not admitting defeat, losing, or any variant of that, but I am choosing to drop out of this argument because it's only brought me distress. I've had to see how badly faith will twist someone to not answer questions, blatantly deny evidence, and not look into anything that has been posted. I'd rather not be sad after reading this thread. I try not to depress myself, y'see?
