I stand by that. I asked a simple question, and all I wanted was to know what your opinions on the video are, but you guys started talking about god and in all these pages no one has even talked about the video.

 

We had/have no motivation to watch the video. If you really were dedicated to making your point you would have included the passage from the Qu'ran that supposedly details Embryology. A person on YouTube can say whatever they want, without it necessarily being true. I'm fairly sure without even clicking on the video that his opinions are biased solely because he probably is also Muslim. If your book went into such great detail about the science of Embryology, it would seem you would have a much greater desire to prove us wrong by quoting the passage, but you havent.. so that leaves us all to assume that by "great detail" you mean "using a shitload of ambiguous language that leaves us to assume almost everything".

Until you put forth the effort to prove us wrong, you will remain wrong in the eyes of everybody in this thread. You've had like 4 pages of people telling you your topic makes no sense, and you STILL stand by it? Lmao.

You're doing it again. If you knew anything about making a point, or attempting to start a discussion, you don't require people to do more than they have to. There's no reason for us to watch the video as you can make the point instead. Your point being that the Qu'arn is more advanced or some shit than others were and it knew things, etc.

However, all you've done is linked us to a random YouTube video. You should, instead, present all the facts yourself, in a well laid out manner, and then we will discuss it to the full extent it may deserve.

Okay, on a side-note, not that you're reading, I can understand that you don't want to believe in this, and that you've never had a proper view of any of this knowledge that's flowing your way, but you (if you're reading this) at least try and look into the counter arguments because it is apparent you've never done such a thing and just taken the words of people you look towards. Comparing the embryology mentioned in the Quran to modern day embryology is the equivalent of comparing apples to oranges. They cannot be linked, it's complete and utter nonsense. Can you not see the complete stretch they are aiming for? Incredible detail? Hardly, if you did your research on modern day technology and then went back and read the Quran you'd see this.

The root of embryology itself consists of none other then the sperm & egg and the individual cells they are comprised of. Find me the passage in the Quran where it touches upon this. (You won't, because I'm familiar with the Quran and it isn't mentioned).

Also, from your previous thread you claimed you had proof God existed but would not present it because it would "bounce off our heads". That's bullshit and I'd love to see your proof. I promise I'll be open-minded if you have the audacity to create a claim.

Farcast, I wouldn't say they are incomparable. While his discussion may be completely retarded/biased towards his religion, it doesn't dismiss that the Qu'ran may describe Embryology.. I do tend to doubt that it describes it in the great detail we know today, especially considering Fatih's unwillingness to provide us with a credible source.

Haha, seriously? If the qur'an was guesses, that must mean some were right, and some were wrong. There isn't a single verse in the whole qur'an that is incorrect, so I don't see how that is just a simple guess. haha
