    Thinking Of Switching To Apple.

Well, ever since I stopped in to check out the
Apple stor in my local mall, I was amazed on how good
their computers looked. After doing a bit of research
I found out that their computers in general are very good.
I've been a Windows user my whole life, and I was wondering
what are some good tips for switching to an iMac?

I'm really looking forward to buying an iMac,
is there anything I should look for, any tips?
Any tips will be thanked for.
    ^_^

Also here are some pictures of the
    iMac, I'm planning on buying.

Nice. I have a Mac Pro that I use for school/ps and it hasn't crashed on me once. I also have XP on it :D.

    Definitely a good choice.

Hold off for a while, I remember hearing a very good rumor that the iMacs will be receiving a well-needed update soon.

I heard somewhere that Apple are updating OS X Leopard (Possibly giving it a new name too) within the next few months.

In my advice, if your a big gamer, whatever you do don't get one.
I remember, I once had a little month of wanting a mac, so yeah, went to my friends house, tried a few gadgets on it and yeah, awesome. For forums and shit they are great, but when it comes to gaming...:S

Yes, I've also heard that there will be a new
one coming out, it's called "Snow Leapord",
    I believe.

I'm not a gamer, I'm thinking of buying it
for my school work, and just daily computer
    stuff.

I've actually considered this, I went on youtube and looking up Windows vs Apple comparisons.

This could help you decide what to do.

I hate most everyone that Apple makes... I think that Macs are over priced and there is no real good reason to buy one IMO....

Some programs do not work on apple, it's not the most versatile.

I suggest staying to Windows XP ( best)

If your into Laptops, get the Macbook. I'm running it now. Its kickass for gaming, I'm running Mac OS Leopard and Windows Vista Ultimate on this bitch. It was $1,000. 2.0GHZ, 2GB Ram, ect. pretty nice computer for the price.

It runs online games HELLA smooth on vista, I've been playing some online FPS games and it is so beautiful.. graphics are insane on this thing too.

As for people who are talking about the rumors of the new Leopard, yes. It's going to be called "Snow Leopard" and should be out in the near future. So hold off on buying a mac until it comes out, and it'll come free with your computer.

For a desktop, iMac's are a great choice.
