My personal preference is Windows, but you can use a Mac and use a program called bootcamp to use windows programs if so desired

Windows is just a much better OS, it can do everything you listed, it's better for gaming too.

Macs are pretty good with games, assuming they're compatible. They might not be able to run LoL, but they can run WoW and SC2 like a Beast.

They can run bots, and RS.
Personally though, always have a PC ready just in case.
And macs don't fuck you over.

    Mac or Windows?

Macs most definitely. Only problem is they are expensive especially the one I want and those have some programs that don't work on mac when it works on windows that I would like.
Macs is alot easier for me to navigate though.

    Mac or Windows?

I just bootcamped my MacBook Pro to run Mac OS X Lion 10.7 and then Win 7 Ultimate on the other, and I love it. When I need to do Homework I go on the Mac partition, and when I feel like scapin / Foruming I come on the Win7 Side. Haven't attempted botting yet, but I assure it'll run good with 2.8 GHz and a Dual Core Processor.
