Yeah, but if someone told you that god told you to tell the world was round and everyone was wrong, and that god told me this is the wirte way...

What would we all say. We would Laugh at them. So it had to be a stretch a guess.

Hmm, because Pig's eat thier own shit. And in Islam, it is wrong to eat or drink anything which is un-clean and impure.

    It dosent matter at all.
What matters is that it was written in the bibel that earth was flat at that time. So I really dont know what you mean by what you wrote, if it was a respond to my comment.

Sorry no offence or anything, this is a little bit off-topic. But, how old is everyone posting on this thread. You seem to think you know it all, there are people who have been studying religions for over 50 years and still not learnt everything. Then you get some teen on Sythe acting like he know's it all.

Also Islam is the truest religion out of all. It has been a proved and now a fact. It is also the fastest growing religion with 100,000+ converting to Islam every year.

If anyone would like to know anything about Islam, please PM me and i'll try answering any questions in detail and as full as I can.

    Thank you,

    Pikachu

Islam was PROVEN? Dear sir, I metaphorically put you in the spotlight. Kindly, reveal this "proof".

    With pleasure:

    Fastest-growing religion

The second-largest religion in the world after Christianity, Islam is also the fastest-growing religion. In the United States, for example, nearly 80 percent of the more than 1,200 mosques have been built in the past 12 years.

Some scholars see an emerging Muslim renaissance as Islam takes root in many traditionally Christian communities.

Islam has drawn converts from all walks of life, most notably African-Americans. Former NAACP President Benjamin Chavis, who joined the Nation of Islam recently, personifies the trend.

"In societies where you have minorities that are discriminated against, I think they may find an appeal in Islam," said Waleed Kazziha of American University in Cairo.

Many moderate Islamic countries such as Turkey and Egypt are becoming more conservative.

Two decades ago, few middle-class Egyptian women wore scarves or veils on their heads. Now they crowd into special emporiums that advertise Islamic clothing.

The shift toward Islamic fundamentalism worries many in the secular world, a fear underscored when splinter groups target Westerners with violent attacks.

This document was taken directly from the following link:
    http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9704/14/egypt.islam/

I'll find the other about it being the truest religion later, thats why so many people convert.

Islam is not PROVEN to most peoples eyes. I may seem ignorant to some of you, but as a Muslim, I consider Islam the one AND ONLY true religion.

Those facts that were given were a bit stretched, but all in all, they point to the truth.

I am actually very, VERY happy that you found this. Remember how you and I always debated each other in all the God Exists threads and stuff alike? And I always argued with the Quran as my evidence? Well I am very glad that you found this, and you are actually taking into consideration Islam-well at least it seems to make more sense to you than other religions.

Just to clarify one thing shredder, ALL scientic information in the Quran is valid- not just a lot of it, all of it. Try proving any of it wrong, and you won't be able to.

Finally, a website that proves the relationship between science and Islam, written in a way that anyone can understand it.

Shredder, if all harmful basteria was removed from meat by simply cooking it, then why was mad cow disease ever an issue? Also, high levels of uric acid is a disease, and is called hyperuricemia(source:http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003476.htm)

Mad cow disease is caused by prions.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_cow_disease
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prions

That disease results from malfunction of the kidneys, not from eating pork.

I haven't heard of any scientific facts that are truly conclusive, though. The one about the heavens and the Earth being separated by Allah was interesting, but what would be more interesting would be something like "Aye ye, the third rock from the sun in the system of eight planets, with the zinc outer core, and the iron inner core, who will make first contact with extraterrestrial life in the year 2032", etc.

That would be a bit more revealing for me.

But blood contains the acid, so consuming might overload the amount of acid in your blood.

That's like saying you can overdose on marijuana by smoking joint after joint. It just cannot be done. The amount in cooked meat would be so minute that your system would quickly filter it out.

But the amount is there, and you cant be fully shure that all of the acid comes out of your body.

Your kidneys eliminate 99.9% of uric acid from your blood, if not more.

If not less, and even that 0.1% is enough for me :]

Why would I harm my own body.

It's definitely that or more. Your body, for all of its flaws, is extremely efficient.

    *EDIT*

Also, the amount of uric acid that you would take in from pork would not be significant to harm you. Whatever small fraction made it to your blood stream would be quickly diluted in 8 litres of blood.

You cant expect that any kidney would be able to do that, as good as you claim.

Obviously, some will be defective, but the vast majority are in top working order.
