Okay, thanks mate That's the settings I use, but I still have enormous problems with the bot. It's really slow, and 90% of the time - it stops before my target points. Any ideas? I always use to set the priority to High, and realtime. That's not the problem :/

 

Well it seems it wont start at all after pressing start. What may be wrong with my settings or anything else?

 

if the runescape client is ran as administrator that might be the problem

 

The site will go offline for a few hours within the next 24-48 hours, for a server update. You won't be able to use the bot during this time but it will last only a few hours.

gtdark - it's worth checking the support page at www.robotzindisguise.com, sounds like you may be running on Vista.

Aufix - Note your network conditions can slow down the bot, things like someone else using the connection at the same time as you, etc.

gtdark - Could be a compatibility issue, never tested the bot on XP pro. Did you ever have problems with any earlier versions on XP pro?

 

Actually I havent used the bot since 07 so Im guessing its y XP Pro then? =S

Robotz, what OS are you using? I'm using XP aswell. It works, but usually stops. I have over 400-500 ping usually, is that high? I usually bot overnight, so it's only me who's using the internet. My connection should be fine aswell.

Oh and btw, you mentioned a server update? What did that do?

 

400-500 ping isn't good but isn't too bad. Could be related to bot reaction speed, each bot has a different base reaction speed and I'll look into it to see if any bots need adjusting. Improving connection speed certainly will help though.

I've updated a few things on the site, there's a bot update on the way too, possibly the biggest since V4 was released.

There are now a collection of stats on the My Robot page, including the latest conversations your bot had, pizzaz earned in each game, etc. But don't publicise that information, it would give Jagex something to work with as we all know by now, they visit this thread.

There is also an hours transfer system on the way too, where you will be able to change the username the bot trains, up to 3 times per month. As well as a few other minor changes.

Any other website related features you'd like to see, now is the time to mention it.

82-99 Magic , using this MTA bot.

 

I bought this back when it was V1.2 which I got to 92 mage on my character, and decided to buy again. I see the bot comes with hours now, so I purchased 100 hours. I adjusted setting, changed vista to classic mode, Standard Detail on runescape, ground decor off, ground textures off. The bot runs for about 40 mins to a hour doing great on alchemy then it gets stuck and logs itself out, and never lgos back in. Every since time it keeps doing this. When I had the bot before it never used to do this and could bot a solid 8 hours.

Really would liek to figure out why this is doing this. So far I feel like I'm wasting time, because it just keeps loggin off :/ If it can't seem to be figured out, I think I may want a refund and I'll just use RSBot.

Please give me some information Robotz.

It's a new bot eric. You'll notice a massive amount of improvement in the bot since V1 including the ability to talk with players. Sounds like you're experiencing a problem though, if you use the bot on a stable and fast internet connection you'll get best results. There will be improvements in the coming weeks to reliability in general, however the bot on a good connection will run for extended periods (maybe not as long as before, yet). Might be worth contacting customer support about, and try to watch what happens before it logs out for a more detailed report.

But in any case, don't worry you won't waste time because the bot never charges while it's not logged in and working. If you mean, you are concerned you're wasting time you could be using RSbot, it's possible you could even run RSbot in the background while you use RID. If you use RSbot you will end up banned before you achieve anything significant, unless you're very lucky. To me, that seems like a waste of time, but each to their own.

Hey Robotz, I bought the bot In December of 2007, shortly before the hour limit was instituted... Anyway, I stopped playing mid-January, so I had 192 or 193 hours left on the bot. I started playing again recently, and I was going to finish up my hours, but I cannot recall my RID Username/password.

Anyway, when I was on Sythe back then, I created an account mainly to ask questions about the bot (Username, Free Stuff Plz, posts in the original thread on page 120, I hunted it down), which I forgot the password to, as well.

Though it sounds bleak at this point, I'm sure, I went through my old paypal records and found the receipt for payment, which includes the Runescape username that the bot was for and the email which I wanted the bot sent to (that email account was closed for some vague Yahoo Answers violations). Anyway, if I send you the receipt along with any other information I can provide, would I be able to get the bot back?

 

Okay, Well I will hopefully catch what it is doing wrong. Def. not as stable as old bot, but I hope it can get better. Maybe implement an autologin feature? Anyways... we shall see, and I may be sending a email if problem persists.

You can now transfer hours from one RS account to another instantly, you can even choose how many hours to transfer, so you can split your hours between two, or more accounts, if you wanted. You can make 3 hour transfers per calender month.
