Thanks I 1337 I, never knew Zybez was keeping track of prices. I wouldn't say it's 100% accurate, some of the info is even before the G E, and only one reading every 2 months or so, but it's still interesting though.

The correct dates, if you are interested:

- Version 1 released in Oct 2007, went offline December 2007.
- Version 2 released Jan 2007, went offline April 2008.
- Version 3 released April 2008.
- V3 went offline on July 1st 2008 - the day of the graphics update.
- V4 beta came out in October I think.
- V4 full release in November some time.

The graph starts with a steady price drop that was not accellerated once V1 was released. The figure of 2.4M in January 2007 was how I remembered it, and seems pretty feasible according to the graph which shows 2.8M on 18th January. The price goes up in March, at a time when V2 was online. The price through V3 was overall quite steady. And the price has gone up since their last reading (Jan 1st 2009) by 300k-ish.

You are wrong though, in the time between V3 going offline and V4 coming out, the price did not increase, it actually went down (by approx 1M) according to the graph.

 

I'm not blaming the bot for getting me banned I knew I was using it 20+ hours a day and got from 94-99 mage in close to 2 weeks if I recall. So I got my dates mixed up on when I botted, that was a while ago. That just goes to show that mage books while I botted were about 4.5m each. I know they didn't go up from January they went down. As the old thread stated in the begining it made like 10m a day or something like that(can't remember exactly).

If you do remember I was one of the first subscribers to the bot in the very first version. I'm not trying to argue with you in any way or put down the bot in any way. I've done nothing but support this thread and pushed very strongly to get the thread unlocked when it was first locked, and it worked. Not once have I ever blamed you for my ban at any time. I even admitted to you that I was using it 20+ hours a day that's why you only gave me 100 hours as a refund instead of the typical 200 hours. I just took it offensively with the whole "I hope you follow the guidelines this time".

Edit: After looking the the graph provided by 1337, if you notice mage books were 4,350,000gp in April which puts it about exactly at the time when I was getting 99 mage.

Also, if you do recall I was the one who gave you the ideas of fatigue and making each robot learn as the more experience they get in the MTA. I'm not just some dumb kid, I got greedy and paid the price.

 

No worries, I was just pulling you up on a few mistakes. Don't think you're dumb lol, everyone makes mistakes from time to time. Just trying to keep the thread informative. I double check any info I post here so contradicting me when you aren't sure what you're saying is correct, probably not the best idea, but I agree you've been a great contributer to the thread and you know yourself you got your dates mixed up, etc.

Didn't mean it personally, I know you weren't blaming the bot, but if you use the b word here it makes the bot look bad. Nobody who stuck to the guidelines has been banned using the current bot, Magic Trainng 4. And if people come here and read talk of bans, even if this was an earlier version, way back in June, they could get the complete wrong impression about what RID is all about. Also your experience could help someone else avoid making the same mistake so I appreciate you've been upfront about it.

 

I have encountered some errors in alchemy it logs out and 3 of my mates are having the same issue. Could you fix this please

 

I was banned useing this bot a really long time ago, over 6 months ago. It was one of the bans that happened when Jagex used a diffirent method to ban RID users. Perm banned the 24th of may, used under 20 hours of RID on that account and that's all i had. I never did any diffirent type of botting on that account besides RID, i thought RID was a magical bot that you wouldn't get banned useing if you didn't abuse it but turns out i was wrong. So now long after all this happened I didn't know you could get 200 hours compensation for a banned account so is it too late to get that?

Edit: I live western united states california and the ban happened really early in the morning, between 3 AM - 5 AM my time.

 

Haven't been to the thread in a while. Glad to see the bot is still doing well. About to buy more time and finish up getting 99 mage.

 

Well I'm not going to be so kind like sex, I think it's your fault I got banned about a month ago using your bot. Mazing_pure was my account name, I botted less than 5 hours a day. random days not every day.

 

Man this thread is pawning, I really got try this bot.

 

Stone to be honest its your fucking fault and I know its easier blaming someone else other then yourself. Then to be honest Macro is against Jagex rules and you took that risk when you bought the bot.

Do you have any idea of what this bot does, and to be honest there is no real mta for rs bot unless if you switch the scripts around and it still mis-clicks and acts up in telekinetic. Then on top of that you would be pretty fucking stupid to bot a main with rsbot. I guess you must have been the 111 that my friend was following that was using rsbot and it was miss-clicking all the time. Good fight!

 

lmfao how is it RID's fault? You're the one who posted too much details about your account here and even said you should be banned if jagex figured out who you were. If you followed his guidelines, you wouldnt be banned like the rest of us. and like everyone says, you know the risks when botting so its your fault for choosing to bot.

^^ agreed - rsbot MTA blows and yes i tried it, but not on my main - too many bugs. you're just asking for a ban using that script.

My main is currently using RID's MTA bot and so far no ban hammer and gained quite a few mage lvls

EDIT - my main only uses RID's MTA, never used any other bots for it. Shit its the only bot i trust on my main.

stone - even if it was a feasible accomplishment for Jagex to detect this bot from in-game activity (for many technical reasons, it is not), don't you think it's a tad bit of a coincidence that the only people who have been banned using MT4 are those who post compromising information about themselves on Sythe (and/or guys who were nabbed back in V2/3). Blame whoever you like, but I gave a warning on day 1 of version 4 being released exactly what Jagex were up to, it said specifically to avoid posting any details about your account(s) or in-game activity publicly but you ignored this (I notice you've just done it again, by putting your RS account name in your last post, you may not think it matters now but Jagex can confirm your IP address from that info, and if you were to start botting again on another account that was linked to that same IP you'd get banned). You may think you know better, but I've been building my dossier on Jagex for quite a while longer, it's been earned, and you'd be wise to respect that.

Just wondering have you got a rough date for the Pest Control bot?

And ive used your bot for some time now and it kicks ass!!

 

The settings, do I set Ground decorations: off and Ground textures: Few, and the rest ON? How about the brightness, does it still have to be on the second lowest?

 

yes leave everything else on, and only modify those two settings. Also for the brightness, it can be any brightness. Full brightness is suggested if your having any problems.
