I can't connect with Bitlbee using its XMPP support. I'm logging in with the user [email protected], using my password and these settings:

also, i tried pidgin to see if it's only a problem with bitlbee but no, same authentication failure.

Edit: Firefox seems stable. This may be a browser issue with chrome.


I'm having the issue where the chat will freeze up (say unresponsive) about every thirty seconds. I'll hit wait but it will come back. I'm also having an issue where it won't let me chat and I've to close out and re-open it. Not huge issues, but it's becoming an annoyance. I tried to take some pics, but I'm not exactly sure where I should be looking. It seems like a js script is getting caught up somewhere but I could be way wrong.

 

Have you tried refreshing the page? I get that same sort of screen if I am doing something bandwidth intensive at the time.

Sythe chat on Chrome seems to work perfectly for me I've not had no issue so maybe its from your side.




Also just saying... you do realize if you edit the .XML slightly this could prevent you from getting into the chat it's like having ENCRYPTION=TRUE
I'm not saying you edited the xml but this is a possible reason

No problems here with logging in.

Chat has been kicking me off for no reason for the past 24 hours. Others are having a similar issue. Seems to happen more after posting links

 

Same. Happens when running my custom client too.
