Sythe Gold

I wouldn't restrict it to veterans, but I would have it require a good amount of Sythe gold.

With that being said, I wish Sythe gold had more of a value in the real world. It would be a cool opportunity to involved in.

 

Redeeming sythe gold for fun ranks would be awesome. It would require alot of sythe gold, and I really mean <ALOT>.

This would really help keep sythe gold in value in the long run.

 

I would, it would loose its meaning if anyone could redeem it. Of course if the amount required would only be affordable by veteran members only that would be okay (it would take so much gold that you would have to be an old member to get it). Or it could be very hard for non-veterans to acquire it and veterans could get a discount. You get my point.

 

Can we still throw up the suggestion of increasing minirank count with sythe gold (maybe 100 sythe gold = 1 spot?)
since i hate the 20 maximum as a $5 donor

 

Unless more benefits are added to higher donors then no support. I think the increase is a benefit for reaching 300 donor.

 

This would be pretty sweet, off the top of my head 100,000 - 150,000 Sythe Gold for a Funrank sounds like a good amount to me.

 

The only people to achieve this would be people with multiple threads in the market and who can frequently bump them. It would be rare for a community oriented person to achieve that much without having a presence in the market.

I thought the main point of sythe gold was to have people participate in the community not farm gold from posting bump every 8 hours on 10 threads.

 

Sythe wants to implement a bump button, so if a funrank idea goes through. They wont get post count via it. Or well Bump Button first, then Funrank.

 

My point exactly, that's why adding a veteran requirement would make sense.

 

"Veterans" are allowed to participate in the market as well so i'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at, not to mention the fact that 100k - 150k Sythe Gold would mean 100-150k posts afaik.

Most of the veterans will not even try to spam in the market and they are aware of the rules. Also, this activity boost would be very good for Sythe and it will be easy to maintain since it will be exclusive for veterans. Of course, non-veterans should also get prizes, such as miniranks, extra thread title icons etc.

 

Just because people are aware of rules doesn't mean they won't break them, "Veterans" are no exception to this, if someone is posting on market threads with no intentions of trading they can be reported/dealt with. All community members should be on equal grounds when it comes to Sythe Gold as it would be ideal for new users to be active as well.

 

All community members will be equal when it will come to most of the prizes.

Winning a fun rank should be special and a member who just joined Sythe and is only active in order to get that fun rank does not deserve it. 3-5 year requirement is very reasonable for such rank. I would say either it should have a veteran requirement or should not be released as a prize at all. It should be as rare as possible and seen as a top-tier reward.

I do, if getting it would make that person an old member eventually, then it makes sense of course.

Have the ability to buy sythe gold via $, this would be a good revenue for Sythe

Spend sythe gold on prizeboxes, miniranks and fun ranks.

In order for people to buy sythe gold you really need to have the ability to buy fun ranks.

How is it biased if I would be entitled to it anyways? Plus my history on Sythe shows that I have a lot of experience.

If fun ranks will added, Sythe Gold transactions should be removed or coins received from transactions should not be used to acquire fun ranks (obviously).
