Some reports not being responded to.

Currently there are multiple reports that hasn't been responded to by staff for 48 hours. The accused scammers could scam multiple users in that time. You do not handle all reports with equal urgency. If some popular user scams $1K + its instantly looked at. The lower tiered scams should be handled with that same speed as a scam is a scam the amount isn't relevant and the fact it's been 48+ hours since there has been responses on some of the reports when the staff members have the time to talk random ish on discord is ridiculous.

 

To be fair the bigger reports in a way are more important to deal with first to prevent more being scammed but yeah there are a lot of reports that do get left but i don't think it happens often

 

I mean I get that staff members also have lives but 75% of them have been active on discord throughout the 48 hours talking, joking around and etc. but there's a report currently $50 dollars+ worth went missing from the account, the service provider said he trusts his workers and would refund items lost. Then they went missing and etc. Two days+ without responses on something like that I don't see reasonable as that guys worker could scam again or he could himself.

but for example not fully related. I got infracted yesterday by tyler for posting on a report linking the guy to proper report format and the discord proof thread. Tyler deleted that post and infracted me and then never responded to the report or update the guy himself on proper format after deleting my post. He just left it there with incorrect format and etc. Luckily though the guy had seen my post beforehand. I get why the infraction happened and that doesn't bother me. What does in that specific situation is the guy hadn't updated his thread by that time and after tyler deleted the post he didn't tell the guy himself. He just infracted/deleted and ghosted the report.

Because I was handling reported posts at that time and not scam reports, somebody reported your post because it did not follow the rules, I infracted you and dealt with more reported posts.

in regards to OP, no two scam reports are the same. Moderators take quite a few things into consideration before looking at a report

• the experience the moderator has dealing with that type of report
• the information presented in the report itself
• the time the moderator is online to deal with the report, what happened after, information gathering ect
• to check if there is any bias in regards to the report

additionally, more often that not moderators go to the bottom when looking at reports as those have been the most inactive. so this Report worker guy bumping his thread actually makes it less likely it will be dealt with sooner.
