So I sit in class next to this girl called Amy. And in the two months we've been friends, we've gotten REALLY close. And now her dumbass, abusive boyfriend has come in and told me to stay the fuck away from her or he'll kill me. Apparently, he thinks I'm trying to steal her away or something. Well I can't lie so I'll just tell y'all that I am doing just that.

He doesn't deserve her at all. He constantly makes her cry and they fight like every day.

Well I've tried ignoring her for two whole hours and I just can't. She has this bubbly personality that I am really drawn to. I'm a really odd guy. My jokes are one-liners and I hardly ever smile. I am a pessimist. But somehow, near her, I feel like grabbing a guitar and singing.

And I hate singing.

So what do you all suggest?

Trust your heart. The worst thing that he can do is beat you, and in her eyes, you will be the guy that stood up for what you wanted. The guy who has threatened you is scared, because he himself knows he will lose his girl. What's the worst he can do, knock you out? Your adrenaline will be pumping and you won't feel pain, (of course you will later) but yeah. All in all do what you want, and don't let some punk-ass-bitch screw with your feelings. If you truly think you have something going, I say pursue it; even if beatings are to come.

I would suggest staying away unless you want to be that guy that is always there for her, but never gets anything out of her.

Find a new girl, and get over her.

despite what you might feel, she would NOT NOT NOT AND and i repeat NOT leave him for you regardless of how much you might think she hates her bf. best thing to do would be to not get too attached, because it will hurt BAD when you face the truth. Hope all works out for you.

If she wanted you, she would have already broken up with the other guy, and gone for you. As another member said, you will just be that guy who is always there for her, but never gets anything from her. You have two options:

1. Leave her alone, hopefully then she'll miss you and might want to date you etc.

2. Keep talking to her, join a gym and bulk like crazy because that guy is probably serious, since i know i would be if i said that to someone.
