Should I Buy ODST?

I was just wanting to know if its even worth the money?
Help me out please.
Tell me whats good and whats bad about it.

The maps are dank...but thats just the multiplayer disc.

Campaign starts off slow but its okay i guess

 

From what I seen, looks pretty good, I slept on it though.

i bought it. yes girls can play halo odst as well. it is amazing. firefight alone has you on it for about 85% of your xbox time. then you pop in the multiplayer with all the maps and your done for. you know all you want to do is play halo 3 odst and get all achievements. after that you still want to play halo 3 odst.

 

Mainly it's great for the new maps, and has all the maps on the one disk.

Another perk is Firefight which is really fun similar to nazi/zombies.

 

Sell Halo 3, get ODST.

 

^Other way around. Seriously, why the FUCK would you spend what? $60 for 3 maps and a 5 level campaign? That's fucking retarded. It trashed Recon, also. Honestly, look at the cover of the game. If you think the ODST helmet looks cool, or anything close, you have the worst taste possible, and don't even deserve xbl, let alone living, sorry. Complete waste of money.

 

Personally I enjoy the campaign, along with firefight....The original reason I bought it was for the 3 maps + all the other maps on one disk. That was because I knew you were going to have to have it to play most playlists soon. Plus the ability to get recon had me sold too.

I went to gamestop a week before it came out not even planning on buying it sold some stuff and had enough to pay the full price on it and get more credit so I took it.

 

Weasel, as a Recon owner before ODST(Weezy Haz Recon), I thought you would think a little different about the Recon. Think about it. You used to be admired for having Recon, because you generally had to do something hard, or amazing, but now, you just get achievements which take less than a day and you get Recon. I had only played 3 people with Recon, and 1 flaming Recon in 2 years of Halo 3. I've played 10+ in the past 2 days. It's really sad. Also, $60 for campaign is pointless, sorry.

Edit; I feel so strong about how Recon should deserve something new, well, because I've had 2 Recon accounts BEFORE ODST.

And yeh, Co-op campaigns to short imo.

 

If you like to play halo, yeah buy it. The new maps are pretty sick and firefight is really addictive. If you feel you have second thoughts, save your cash and see whether you want a new and upcoming game or odst

 

I will agree with that but mainly I actually liked the whole game in general too.

I wouldn't buy it, you would be wasting 60$, it's good for the first day untill you realise how repetitive it is.

The new maps will be worth it to have when microsoft decides to place restrictions. you also get reach beta, not sure if that will be any good.
