Imagine if you were allowed to clone people. People wouldn’t need to donate their organs, because scientists think with further research they will be able to clone hearts, livers, kidneys and other vital organs. Just think patients waiting on organ donor lists will be over. If you need a new heart, kidney or liver, etc, all you would have to do is clone a new one. You won’t have to wait an a long list and maybe die before you get your organ, just think all you have to do is clone another one.

Another major breakthrough cloning could help is for people who gotten into car accidents and other accidents, and injured their spinal cord in some way. If they allowed cloning they may be able to grow new nerves in the spinal cord, which means people that are in wheel chairs due to spinal cord injures may be able to get up and walk away due to cloning. Just think of the good that could do for the world. It would change a lot of minds of people who were against cloning.

Just put yourself in the position of losing a child, in their teens, to a very severe disease. Then a few years down the road you have another child, with the same severe disease who also dies in their teens. Wouldn’t that just tear you up inside? Then you realize you could get those 2 same children back through cloning but without their severe disease. They could live a normal life with their parents without their disease.

If cloning was allowed a cure for cancer might be found. Yes, a cure for cancer might be found. We may learn how to switch cells on and off through cloning and then be able to cure cancer. Scientists still do not know exactly how cells move in specific kinds of tissues, but if cloning was allowed we might be able to figure it out. Just think how much that would change the world.

One of the many reasons cloning is not allowed is because a lot of people think it is not ethically right or their religions are aginst it. All I have to say to the people who don’t belive in it is, "Wake up, the technology is changing and so must we."

Well thats what i think but lets hear what you have to say.

Although I have a Catholic beleif, Which states that everything is fathered to god, and anything other than human would not go to heaven I beleive this is wrong. Overpopulation, and raising a deprived child so that he can die one day? Is that really worth giving a SICK person somewhere between 5-7 years? I think not.

Good point, but i still believe cloning is a good thing.

dieing old age is dieing old age, if you can save a sick child and cloning is the only option i say go for it

Cloning would be good. The reason I think if your a kid your other half can go to school for you:) Or help out in society.

Bosnian Legend - Your clone wouldn't be able to go to school for you because then everyone would just be a lazy ass that gets fat all day. Im saying cloning as in medical problems, car accidents, ect. They would be able to help out society by cleaning your house, doing work around the house while your at your job ect. Also so many people wouldn't be dieing in the wars if we cloned ourselves and we sent our clones out for war. But clones can't reproduce so if they killed all humans then would they call it the human race still or the "cloned race"?

i say clones are used to clone shakira and rape her

Stop posting if your going to post useless stuff no one wants to hear about how you want to rape shakira.

So are you saying we should clone humans, kill them, and use all the organs?

NO, human cloning shall NOT be allowed, it is just bad.

BUT

I agree with animal cloning, to help us survive like if they all die from a disease etc.

But no human cloning, it's just bad, you can't/don't have to change the life of someone, destiny made it that way.

human cloning, stem cell research, yes. wats so wrong with growing someone a functioning body part from a pietriadish (uber misspelled >.>)?

think about it, you were born without a proper nose, you spent all your life feeling sorry for yourself and being depressed because your disability limited you, and suddenly there was a massive breakthrough in health science and scientists now had the ability to grow you a functioning nose that could end your misiry, you wouldnt be happy that they maybe used a rat to grow u a nose?

no? those scientists are "playing God"? how? how is using their talents that God gave them to help people as health scientists "playing God"? thats just a lame excuse of being scared of something that's different....

Why would we clone an entire human if they already can clone organs and make a type of synthetic blood? I am against it because of my beliefs and because its just not a good idea in general. What from this we end up creating a new disease or something?

then we could technilogically and scientifically advance and learn to adapt from that disease or simply create a cure for it. just imagine a military with all clones, just like starwars :drools: the most elite soldiers ever, it could be total chaos, but then again it could play out in our favor...

Cloning human embryos should be allowed in my opinion. Today in age we have proven that stem cells can be used for the greater good and help cure all types of cancer, and physical attributes. Don't say that it is horrible for people to use embryos for that sort of thing but to be honest, there are millions frozen by donors, and if an embryo is frozen longer than 10 years then it is thrown out and never used again. So people need to give it more of a chance.

my clone can go to fucking school XD.
jk, well i think cloning isnt an option, because you'd need to kill the clone again, what if your a clone, would you like it?

You wouldn't need to kill it.

haha im Catholic too i was gona say the same, but even if ur not its really sick to try to create a man, its just something that it out of human hands

No, the organs themselves can be cloned.

Genetically speaking, a clone is somebody's twin. Why is having a twin so bad?

Why is it against your beliefs?

That IS how humanity survives, you know. >_>

I hope the people who are against cloning are in a serious crash where only the organs from a clone can save them. Saying cloning is sick is saying saving people's lives is sick, I think you people are the sick ones.

Hm, didn't know just organs could be cloned.

If only cloning was cheaper, because at the moment it would be cheaper to buy an organ off the black market.
