Sharp pain in my chest while smoking?

Stop smoking weed. Simple.

 

That's kinda how it is for me. Was it just a random pain that seemed to be whenever you smoked?

how long does it last? for like an hour or so?

 

I had that recently, and I smoke both weed and cigarettes for years, and It turned out to be weed. I decided to experiment which one actually causes it, so I stopped smoking weed for a few days and just smoked cigarettes, and vice versa, cigarettes didn't give me the chest pain, while weed did, but I decided to have a break on both of them, and this will be my week and a half of being totally clean. I personally will probably smoke again once I decide I'll be clear, but 1 thing I can recommend for you is to quit for a bit.

EDIT: Anyone saying this is lung collapsing is really illogical, lungs would have a pain in the back and usually you don't feel anything in your lungs, you do in your heart however, also try to get some exercise, helped me lots.

 

in case u missed the 1st 20 posts, stop smoking and get a doctor, obviously if smoking causes pain u shouldnt do it

Yeah, I'd take a rip and lay down and feel a pretty bad pain if i layed the wrong way took some time to go away, then they would come back later too.

really sucks, hope you can get it figured out.

 

That's kinda how it is for me, but only sometimes. I'm still trying to figure out what it might be. I haven't had the pain in 2 days, but I've still been smoking. it felt like it might start to come back yesterday, but it didn't.



Thanks for your help so far everyone. There's already plenty of people telling me to go to the doctor and stop smoking, so stop posting that just to get your PC up.

I'm just trying to see if others experience the same thing as me, and what, if anything, they do about it or have done about it. I've also heard that eating before you smoke can help with this, does anyone know the validity of this statement?

 

I would talk to your doctor. This is how my step-father's cancer started.
