Sorry to spam your thread but this post really makes no sense. I'm so tired of people thinking accounts go for 50-200m. Especially seeing as he is referring to a player moderator account.

With all these kids just quick selling their accounts and recovering everyone thinks a 138 is worth like 100-300m. This makes absolutely no sense. I would never purchase an account at such a low rate because I'd imagine ~85% of accounts that get bought at such a low rate are recovered and the cycle continues.

Also, a player moderator account is something rare; just like discontinued items, there is a limited number of them. Sure there's a difference between the two... mainly because JaGeX can appoint more, but also when you become a moderator you have to provide irl details.

I'd assume if your in possession of a moderator account they run checks etc to verify the person's account is not sold/hacked often.

With that said you would also have to assume if they check the I.P's you'd have to provide a lot more information then just the recovery's to unlock it.

I really don't see the point to continue e-raging about this but honestly if the recommendations thread is still there, and not long gone by now just do that, I wouldn't try to purchase a p-mod account as the chance they will lock it would be extremely high and to unlock it you would MOST LIKELY need a whole lot of information the seller probably wouldn't want to provide.

I am good friends with at least five player mods in the game. I have asked each of them and they said that Jagex is NOT recruiting anymore player mods at the moment and haven't for awhile.

Any player mod claiming to accept money for recommendations are just scammers. At least right now.

 

Thanks for the info, as Jagex does not 'recruit' anyway so to speak, i presume the pmods mean that Jagex is not looking to invite any new players to the position of Pmod?

my good buddy is a pmod, and they dont have any such thing as reccommendations, he told me that recs are a myth and your are chosen by jagex based on how many of your reports lead to bans etc.

 

again, don't care as such who knows a p-mod im interested in what I asked for :idea:
