Probably playing other MMOs lol, not much of a difference

 

I'd probably be a functioning adult with a high school diploma (instead of a GED) and done with college instead of just starting... (cuz i took those few years to no life)

 

prob have a life and do something useful, sigh ...

 

My life wouldn't be that much different, Would have less money.

 

I'd probably have a PhD by now! ..But in all seriousness, I probably would've focused on priming myself academically and athletically to focus better on school and excel in sports.

 

I would have read more books.

 

Such a good question, i'm not too sure tbh.. probably would have focused more in school, but then again i'd probably just be playing another game to pass the time.

 

I would have stuck to COD and skating.

I wouldn't have joined the military, I would probably be making more money but I wouldn't have met a lot of life time friends whom which I continue to talk to almost 12 years later.

 

Play a different game, or do what I'm doing now. I quit playing the game for nearly a year now. It feels great.

 

Lord who knows. I started in 2003. Played regularly until 2012 or so. First time back on sythe in years after finally, "beating the addiction."
RS was my introduction into video games, so I assume I wouldn't have gotten hooked into any online video games.
I sure as hell know whatever I did instead would have been time less wasted. Haha

My English vocabulary would not be as good, only played when wasn't doing anything else. It also helped to get to know some people (mainly through forums).

 

I would have so many hours of my life to spend doing something else... it's kind of overwhelming. I can only begin to grasp how many afternoons and evenings (not to mention entire school days missed) I spent playing this damn game. I'm talking easily over 2,000 hours. It's just nuts. I have a bit of an addictive personality so I can kind of see why it was so central to my teenage life but I'm glad I started to realize I had more important and interesting things I could be doing around 16 or 17 and finally peeled myself away from it for a while.

If I had never started playing I probably would have spent about a quarter of the time I wasted on Runescape just lazily browsing the internet looking for something to pique my interest, and eventually gone outside and started making more friends. At least that's what I like to imagine. Truthfully I probably would've just discovered 4chan earlier than I did and ruined my brain even more.

 

I really have no idea. RuneScape was a major influence in my learning how to program.

 

This. Runescape is what opened the gateway to gaming for me.

 

Very similar to myself. I'd certainly played games beforehand, but RuneScape was the first one that caused me to devote hours on end to it each day, to the point it started driving my parents nuts. Anytime I had a break with RuneScape from then on, another game just filled the void.

 

played rs since 2001, i would of prolly jerked off a lot more.
