To Ryan,

This was tough news to hear this morning. Four years ago Ryan dropped my name to be a possible staff candidate and taught me the majority of what I know in regards to Sythe today. We shared laughs, hilarious skype calls, and some memories (good and bad) that I will never forget.

My prayers are with Trin and Ryan's father as well as with all of his friends. Not all of you liked him but Ryan was a good man who did what he could for the people he cared about.

To anyone battling their own demons, don't ever be afraid to speak out. Every problem has a solution no matter how painful and difficult it may seem.

Rest in paradise Rye. We both know who you're spending time with right now and I'm happy you're being given the time to catch up. Thank you for all you did for me as my friend, I'll miss you brother.

Reading back over some of our old chatlogs and saw this. I think those who knew him well would appreciate this one liner response from him

 

You were a great guy and you will be missed. We didn't talk much on a personal level but we did talk about technical/security stuff quite a few times. You will remembered in a positive way. RIP

 

@n4n0 , you will be missed dearly by your friends and family.

It's sad to see someone who had put so much into the site leave. We didn't know each other on a personal level, but I occasionally tuned into your streams. My thoughts are with his wife and family.

 

Holy fuck.. You were a good friend while I was on staff. We didn't talk much as of late, but I never would have seen this coming.

Yikes. After hearing this, my prayers go out to his family and friends. We've had our fair share of interactions -- the good and the bad. He's someone who has helped this community and its members grow and all his work will be forever appreciated. Ryan was a good guy, and may he rest in peace.

 

Sad to hear , he was a good guy. We used to talk quite a bit years ago and taught me a lot. Rest in peace Ryan/ n4n0

 

Sad to see you go Ryan, we had our differences but we definitely held a tremendous amount of respect for one another. I hope you've found peace and solitude.
