I only banned marrow for 14 days, one time, which expired yesterday

 

Actually come to think of it, he was permed by Ryan (got from dispute section) and then unbanned, and then afterwords I saw his pm and hammered him for 14 days

First ban, I am disputing on the 21st. A day after the faggot pm was sent. After you banned me for it.

Who else could have banned me for calling you a faggot through PM. Nobody did. A 14 day ban.

You then banned me on the 25th and denied all my dispute. Maybe if you didn't delete every dispute you would have read that in many of them I said n4n0 unbanned me.

I dont remember what the hell happened a few weeks ago (to a perfect tee). Anyways you still had to serve my 14 day ban anyways, it was never served.

You have to remember I dont get on here all day everyday, I am busy IRL and work 2 jobs.

 

You over ruled another admins unban. That's not even what this threads about, it's hw you made it a my word, your word thing and then didn't allow me to say my side of the story,

You had time to ensure every one of my disputes got deleted yet didn't hAve the time to read one.

You had every intention of keeping me banned for as long as possible. Don't act all innocent.

 

I was told to ignore them. I kept you banned for 13 days and 16 hrs, even unbanning you 8 hrs early. If you want I can ban you again for the remaining 8 hours.


Your ban was incorrectly set to a full unban, when it should have been reset to 14 days.

 

It is double jeopardy and all you've been doing since then is trying to conceal that fact. You seem to think your decisions have more meanings that others.

 

So it seems that the problem lies in multiple staff members taking the lead role and making final decisions in a case.

I think the best course of action to fix this for any future occurrences would be to set guidelines stating:

-Only the primary staff member involved in the case may make final rulings, others may only give opinions.
-Final rulings of the primary staff member may be overruled by a majority vote in SL (this would only happen once in a blue moon so its not a big deal).
-The "lead role" may be passed to another member of (upper) staff should the primary staff member involved be ignoring the disputes or gone inactive for X days or if they have left staff.

The bottom line to me as it seems is that this shit only happens when different staff members make their own final rulings, especially without consulting each other first.

Technically another admin overruled HIS ban, it was HIS case and nobody else should have touched it without consulting him first.

I've been guilty of doing this in the past (accidentally recently to N4N0), but in this case it should have been painfully obvious that FireZ should have been in command as it was only related to him.

Bans being reset incorrectly is not double jeopardy. Its called serving your original ban time. Ryan overturned his own ban, not mine.


14 day ban was elevated to perm, then once unbanned (incorrectly) the 14 day ban and original punishment (2nd offense btw) are re-applied.

 

So you have no problem with n4n0 making mine a perm but if he overturns his perm I have to be rebanned for an offence that an administrator himself decided didn't warrant a ban?

Lets not even get into the fact that calling an admin a faggot through pm isn't even a bannable offence.

 

It didnt warrant a perm ban, but it warranted a ban. NOBODY would have ever challenged that 14 day ban and you know it.

And in case you forgot, personal insults against admins can result in bans at the discretion of the admin involved. Its always been this way.

I wasn't allowed to challenge it, that's the whole point, because you made me look like a douchebag by implying I sent it twice. You acted unethically. Not just with me, but with heaps of users on this site you act like a totally unapproachable douche bag who has nothing better to do than issue bans. You like banning people you don't like. This would all have been avoided if you allowed me to dispute. I'm interested to know who ordered you to ignore them.

You sent a pm on the 8th and the 20th. That is sending a pm twice. Thats what I was referring to, that this was the 2nd time.

I generally ban less then 15 users a month now.


You need to learn how to dispute, your honestly horrible at it. Learn some respect if you want to be taken seriously.

I think that there should be a rule where staff have to be at least 18 to be considered. Because there is to much immaturity among certain staff.
