Pure Prayer advice

Hi all, making a new gmauler.
Options:
1 pray
13 pray
16 pray (avas + accuracy)
31 pray (b ring i)

I definitely prefer 13 or 1 prayer, however not being able to use avas whilst training is expensive.
What are your opinions?
Also, apart from using a bone crossbow, are there any cheap options for training range without an avas?

Stay 1 or 13, your combat wont rise much, and you will get a little advantage in a wild

 

I'm a firm believer in 1 or 31. 1 is lowest possible combat, great stats and a clean build. 31 prayer on the other hand can offer max strength with b ring (I), and the ultimate strength.

 

My vote's for 13 prayer - just enough to give you an edge when PKing, yet doesn't push your combat level too high. Good luck!

 

If you're keeping it decently low level, I would say get 13 prayer and cannon it to 70ish. It's actually pretty cheap!

 

if you're str is over 71 it's better to have 31 prayer. Did the calculations a long time ago.

But stay low prayer and pk. If you don't like it just get more prayer.

 

15 pray til 90+ str. You can still use B Ring (i), idk where you got the thought that it was 31+.
Also avas.

Once 90+ str, 52. You can smite people with huge stacks.
Literally had pures most of my RS life. Started in 2005 and made my first pure in around 2007

 

Hold up at 13 prayer until your stats get higher, then if you change your mind you can raise your prayer then

 

why not just get 44? u can use overheads which are 50% damage off

 

13 prayer is the best in my opinion. At 99 strength 31 prayer only gives you 1 more max with gmaul for 2-3.
