New pure need advice on prayer

I am making a new G Mauler, idk if I should keep the pray 1 or go for 43/52... Cb without would be 73, 78 with 43 pray, and 79 with 52... What are your thoughts people? I want the pray for fcape and protection and I also thought smite might be useful... I just cant make up my mind

i would just quest your prayer to 15 for avas and dt unless you really want that f cape ,then stop at 43.

Thanks for all the input guys, I hit 43 a few hours ago I figured this suited me better and if I ever want to upgrade into a higher cb pure incase I get bored of my mauler than this would be beneficiary

Good choice of getting 43 prayer, I wouldnt really for for 52 though since smite isnt worth it at those levels.

43/44 is the best prayer for 1 def pures imo, the lower cmb you have the better your account is. Pures dont need smite anywhere, it's like mains things to smite out spirit shields and such

 

Get 44 if you're gonna range i'd say for eagle eye.

Dont get smite 44 for fire capes if you know how to, you wont smite much at that level isn't worth getting

Most of my friends who have maxed gmaul pures kept low pray (15) until their cb was in the mid 70s (near max), at which point they either got 31 or 44. Since you've already decided to get overheads for fire cape attempts I highly recommend getting 44 because it really does make a difference. And as others have already mentioned, DO NOT get 52 as a mauler because there really isn't anything worth smiting at your level.
